One of the great ironies of the 2016 campaign is that Donald Trump, who has run as the immigration scourge, is actually the amnesty candidate.
Trump has expressly vowed to give legal status to millions of illegal aliens. For any other candidate, such a promise would have been the campaign death knell. To compare, John Kasich -- who is openly pro-amnesty -- has lost 38 of 39 primaries (the sole exception being his own state) and has never been a plausible contestant. When it comes to Trump, however, it seems that the all-important amnesty fine-print of his immigration position has been overlooked. This is no doubt due to his consciously controversial rhetoric: his fixation about building a wall on the Mexican border, his oft-repeated commitment to mass-deportation of illegal aliens, his disparaging comments about Mexicans, and his proposed moratorium on Muslim immigration.
Yet, Trump is the amnesty candidate. What’s more, the amnesty component of his immigration plan is the only part that has a realistic chance of happening.
Trump is not going to build his wall, much less make Mexico pay for it, as he has insisted our southern neighbor will do. Quite apart from the fact that much of the border is not suitable terrain for wall construction, his wall would be astronomically more expensive to build than he has estimated, and in any event, Democrats and many Republicans in Congress would block funding for it. (To be clear: I favor construction of walls and/or fencing where practical; but a wall is only one component, and not nearly the most critical one, of what must be a multi-faceted strategy if we are to be serious about border security.)
Trump’s categorical moratorium on Muslim immigration would also be rejected.

That’s of no concern. Most of those posting this BS never supported Trump to begin with. In the U.S. we’re surrounded by posers, frauds, impersonators and deceptive trolls. Just look at what Trump has had to put up with in D.C. from so called Republicans no less. Same dame thing here...It’s very widespread.

I voted for Trump because, as I saw someone else put it, we are wasting precious American blood fighting over scraps of worthless land on the other side of the world while we continue to give away the most valuable land on the planet every day to people who hate us and want to destroy us.
I want a wall you can see from space and I want it patrolled by the Army and the Air Force. I want our immigration officers pulling 3 year old kids out of school and 97 year old grandmothers out of church, if they are illegal. And I want it yesterday.
Why does the Supreme Court matter if the law is routinely ignored and/or unenforced?

All these by-a-thread-only supporters of Trump are looking for something, anything to give them a reason to jump ship. What the Pelosi’s and Schumer’s and Graham’s and McCain’s are making up or what the Media is making up gives them cover, so they grab onto anything negative about POTUS.
A recent survey showed that the Media negative reports on POTUS went from 89% the first quarter to 91% the second quarter.
[Most of the TRUE Trump supporters are still onboard, much to the chagrin of the Media/GOPestablishment. He seems to actually be gaining supporters.]

Trump isn’t God and he isn’t our dictator, he is one man with very little help trying to accomplish an almost impossible task.
