Two looters were stopped by Jacksonville police while attempting to steal a power pole in the wake of Hurricane Irma. The highly conspicuous thieves were caught red-handed with the pole on top of their SUV. The looters also attached a flag, made of what appears to be t-shirts, to the back of the pole for safety. It is not clear what they intended to use to pole for. Twitter users noted they would have struggled to sell it for recycling considering it is obviously a stolen power pole.

Looters should be shot. I would prefer they wear burkas so it didn’t become a racial discussion.
We used to hang horse thieves on the spot. Now we have millions without power and looters/scrappers are taking stuff freewill.

Well actually I wouldn’t need pictures because the only type to loot a power pole are in that picture. Call me racist but that was my first image. Two good ‘ole boys. Never thought for a moment they would be “youths”.

No problem, just find another chain saw to steal. And since the power is out anyway, steal some more copper out of some unused a/c units. No one is home anyway.

Jesus, the pole is round. It could have been rolled to the side of the road parallel to the curb where it would not have posed a danger to anyone.
Even as sarcasm this is weak.
And BTW, maybe the two shirtless dudes at the curb are bi-lingual. Or speak Arabic.
With all the trees that were knocked down we’ve got a lot of stumps. I bet any one of them is smarter than these two guys.

These deep state data gatherers/leakers were obviously just at the wrong poles, at the wrong time, in order to be able to catch the two pole thieves. (Luckily the sheriff was able to nail those two thieves and curb them.)
