The top congressional Democrats on Wednesday night said they reached a deal with President Donald Trump to shield about 800,000 young immigrants from deportation — without the president's proposed border wall as a condition.
"We had a productive meeting at the White House with the President. The discussion focused on DACA," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement following a White House dinner with Trump.
"We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that's acceptable to both sides," they added.

It sounds like there's a deal in principle that doesn't include the wall but Trump reserves the right to push for it.
... Heck ... The President has been calculating and taking notes over the past 7 months .... And he now knows who he will be able to work with ..... And who he can Trust. Republicans have sold their souls to the god of hate and refuse to work with their own President. ... So guess what .... the President has to use whatever tools he has left on his plate ..... And Yup ..... This is it.

We just assumed that the wall would be number one on the agenda because it was number one on the promise list.
That blame lays squarely with the obstructionist repub "leadership" in congress.
Repeal and Replace should have been done months ago.
Funding for the border wall should have been accomplished months ago.
Taxes revamped should be nearly done, if not already.
The do nothing congress is more concerned about helping ~800k adult foreigners who are here illegally, than paying attention to the citizens who put them in office.
This is congresses fault.
Ask hillary...or perhaps the do nothing congress obstructionists.
Thing is the RINOs aren’t our party.

I’m certainly not happy with him either...but he’s just done with that backstabbing bunch.
The wall is permanent security and it keeps out the hundreds of thousands who gave us DACA. Border security is a mere whim that can be changed based on who is in power. We need the wall.

In 2016, a lot of folks crossed party lines or ignored them to vote for ‘somebody different’ who seemed to share their frustration with the way the SOBs in Congress were running the country. We might still get some judges out of this guy but now we need to focus on voting out out the worse slimeballs in 2018 and hope a better version of Trump comes along in 2020. Maybe “The Art of the Deal” isn’t what we need to MAGA. I know we don’t need pandering to illegals such as enshrining DACA to help our country.
"How many are going to Amnesty?", he would call out.

"Who's going to pay for it"? Trump would continue.

Correct.DACA is preserved and while there is no language excluding a wall it is not part of this deal and the Dems have made no committment to allow funding to pass.Since the filibuster still exists and since Repubs like McCain and Flake oppose the wall, it will never get built. My guess is that Pres. Trump did not like being poryrsyed as cold hearted. Maybe Bergolio’s comments bothered him...Naaah. Just being himself. He likes to win. But winning means coming out on top even if it means he has to change sides. Did it any number of times in his building and casino career.
