Unfortunately yes, he is TOTALLY fed up. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like what he’s doing any more than anyone else here (other than the NeverTrumpers here, who are celebrating).

I’m just trying to explain his mindset.

I don't care if he's fed up. I'm fed up with uncontrolled borders and decades of illegal aliens moving en masse to this country. I elected him to build the wall, as he promised repeatedly. I expect him to keep his word.

He learned the lesson on healthcare. He doesn't have the votes.

The Reps in Congress played along until they absolutely couldn't duck a meaningful vote any longer and then they crumpled. It would be the same with wall funding.

No use going through weeks/months of kabuki when Ryan said in June he only knew of one person who wanted a full wall.

I fault Trump for making a bunch of claims he can't back up but that's what politicians do. The real issue is the votes aren't there.

I want no amnesty, period. Trump apparantly does. I hate, but accept that. However, if Trump doesn’t trade DACA for full wall funding, he’s an idiot. He is in maximum leverage position. No wall? I’m off the maga train if that happens.
