Exclusive: Paul Ryan Reportedly Says No Chance for Border Wall at Private Dinner
Breitbart ^ | September 12 | Ian Mason

Posted on 09/12/2017 8:58:02 PM PDT by EliRoom8

House Speaker Paul Ryan, at a private dinner earlier this year, said he thought only “one member” wanted to build a wall across the entire U.S.-Mexico border, Breitbart News has learned from multiple sources with direct knowledge of the comments, including former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO).

The dinner, sources said, took place on the eve of the House’s passage of two relatively minor immigration bills at the end of June: Kate’s Law and sanctuary city reforms. The far wider reaching Davis-Oliver Act was tabled at the same time.

“Ryan told a group of Republicans he met with … that only one person wants a wall,” Tancredo told Breitbart News shortly after the dinner.

Paul Ryan Reportedly Says No Chance for Border Wall at Private Dinner

Republicans like Ryan are as hostile to the interests of ordinary Americans as Democrats are. These Republicans are the party of the US Chamber of Commerce, not of the people who vote for them. Ryan is against the wall, he's against reciprocity for concealed carry - how is he any different than any mainstream Democrat?

Paul Ryan you arrogant little $hit. The HOP didn’t win the last election. Donald Trump did. Last I knew that required quite a bit more than one vote.

Lines on Federal Tax Form:

What portion of your taxes would you like to be used to fund entitlements you will never qualify to receive?

What portion of your taxes would you like to be used to fund
at wall at the border with Mexico?

if this is his attitude then there is no chance Ryan will be speaker in 2019. he will either be deposed by his caucus or by nancy pelosi. personally i prefer the former...

What’s Congress going to do? Stop him? No chance. They’re gutless.

No, but Soros will find some judge who will. Trump has a problem with the judiciary. Not sure exactly what it is. But every time a judge somewhere obstructs one of his EO's, he blinks.

It’s to avoid the perception that he’s a dictator. Breaking the courts of tyrannical power and the media power that backs them up is going to be a difficult project and Trump may think it’s better just to replace supreme court justices instead of fighting them head on.

Will there one day be rumors that Paul Ryan is buried underneath the wall?

Be careful. I got disciplined on this site for expressing similar sentiments maybe six months ago.

I hope the moderators now recognize that desperate times may call for desperate solutions.

Didn’t even the great Thomas Sowell, during the Obama administration, speculate that the only way to save the Republic from Leftism might be a period of military rule, followed by gradual restoration of the Constitution?

I can’t remember the quote all that clearly, and I suspect Sowell might have been in a blue funk when he wrote those lines. Someone correct me on this point.

Personally, I’m looking for Antifa to commit some truly sickening act of domestic terrorism, probably within the next year, that will finally wake people up. Unfortunately, innocent Americans will probably have to die in the process.

““Ryan told a group of Republicans he met with … that only one person wants a wall,”

He should come to my legislative district in Colorado and walk precincts. He would meet some folks who feel really really strongly about it.

The burial sites of ALL Congressmen and women should feature urinals so the American people can continue to express their opinions after they are dead.

The House of Reps elected Ryan to be speaker TWICE. How do they explain that, while still pretending they want to accomplish anything? He was somewhat tolerable at the beginning of his VP campaign. During the campaign, he morphed into a creepy sellout for the globalist elitists, like Romney.

Their ilk does not want the US to be governed. The slide falls right into their plan.

What Trump should have done is submit a proposed bill to Congress that gives legal status to Dreamers but makes it conditional upon building the wall, ending sanctuary cities and beefing up border security and deportation of non-Dreamers. Then start deporting the Dreamers and see how long it takes Congress to act.

"Wall" as a single contiguous edifice is the picture many get when they hear it described. "Walls" with high tech security where the structure is not efficacious is reality.

As they try to scare folks into dumping Trump, prototypes are being funded and built and security plans are being drawn-up and studied for efficacy.

Didn’t congress already approve the wall and appropriate funding for it?

Actually, Trump needs to do what he said he was going to do...... go to Mexico and get the money to build the wall.
