video?
He needs to identify the staff person responsible and fire them.
Eh? Did they remove his Twitter account or the video...or the “Like”?
Well, it IS CNN.
Okay, who in his position would give the password to his account to someone? That is just asking for trouble. Not very good judgement.
I don’t even like Ted Cruz, but this is a Nothing Burger.
I won’t click on CNN. I am ignorant on how Twitter works. Someone watched a video and then liked it from Ted Cruz Twitter account?
Is that what happened?
Was hoping the vid was Amanda Carpenter giving Cruz an airstart.
Says it was a mistake. Does he mean it was a mistake to “like” it? I still get the feeling Cruz is a perv.
I’m sure people who send out tweets and/or emails of their junk will say it was a mistake.
“It was a staffing issue and it was inadvertent,
it was a mistake, it was not a deliberate action,”
*************
....it was not a deliberate action,” ....
It was both a mistake and a deliberate action. It couldn’t
have happened had someone not made the coding.
"This is not how I envisioned waking up this morning," Cruz said. "Although I will say that if I had known that this would trend so quickly, perhaps we should have posted something like this back during the Indiana primary."

Ironically, the video depicted some pretty sloppy staff work.
But, his email also showed on the Ashley Madison website hack and there are women that told the National Enquirer they had affairs with him. Where there is smoke, there is often fire.
It’s CNN why bother?
Some intern with too much time on his (or her) hands.
My daughter is a congressional staffer. That particular staff handles all social media accounts.
It may be different with Sen. Cruz. He did some particularly savage trolling of Deadspin this year.
Riiight! Used to happen to me all the time.
I know I blamed my"staff" as well!
Good help is so hard to find.(HaHa!!).
Sorta like “the dog ate my homework.” Never worked for me!
Cruz would not “like” a porn site or video.
I’m probably one of this biggest detractors here, but this isn’t fair to anyone.
The Left would love nothing more than to out Cruz as a porn fan. It could then smear the whole “RIGHT” as straight laced people who are all frauds.
Not buying in on this. For the good of the “RIGHT”, I stand with Cruz on this.
I’m not going to play into to their long term game plan.
It could easily be some kind of set-up or planned attack. I just looked for that Twitter account and can’t find it [[@Sexuallposts]]
There are other variants of that spelling but I can’t find that exact account. Has the account itself been deleted?? Well, whether or not the account has been removed, It could be some kind of spoofing attack operation.
I’m no fan of Cruz, but I am highly suspicious and doubtful that anyone associated with his staff and Twitter account would knowingly click “like” on a porn video, knowing that this information would be displayed with his feed.
I know it is simple on Twitter to change one’s account name at any time (I used to be on Twitter but deleted my account in disgust). The basic address of the account does not change (the “@” address) but one can make the title/account name out to be anything that is not already in use by another Twitter account. This line can be changed in a couple of seconds. I have done so in the past just when I felt like a new “screenname” on Twitter. You simply type in a new name in your account settings. Boom! It’s been changed. Thus, someone could easily “spoof” the account name as something innocent or politically appealing to the Cruz team. Some conservative sounding, maybe even pro-Cruz name.....
I don’t know whether the link to the video itself could have been substituted or modified, but that is something to look at. I know that you can edit tweets after you make them. So possibly someone did a spoof account name in a tweet with a politically “conservative” message, then changed the tweet after the fact (after the Cruz team “liked” it) by substituting a new link in said tweet.
I’m not saying this is what happened for sure, I don’t know, but this kind of thing needs to be looked at.
