Rev. Al Sharpton’s daughter's birthday celebration ended in handcuffs early Saturday after she attacked a cabbie in Midtown, police sources said.

I’ve got a buddy, a retired NYPD Sgt. I was priveleged to run into him one day when he was still on the job. He was grinning ear-to-ear while on his way into a drug store in Manhattan to buy himself a good cigar. When he came out, still in uniform, he proceeded to light-up...still grinning.
“Hey G***, how ya doin’?” I asked.
“I just had the highlight of my career.” he responded. “I just got to slap the cuffs on Sharpton...HAH!!!”
I’m still proud to have been part of his joy that day.
A couple of years ago, Sharpton’s eldest daughter...Dominique was suing the city for $5 million claiming she sprained her ankle severely on a city street. The suit was based on her claim of permanent damage, but she was able to climb a mountain, and photos of her were published dancing in high heels, and climbing a ladder to decorate a Christmas tree. The Sharpton apples didn’t fall far from the tree.
