My experience sending 2 children to Manhattan private schools is that the children of the truely powerful are usually the most messed up children in school. Extreme pathologies and learning disabilities abound among these pathetic creatures.
One child of a big jane hedge fund guy was so pumped full

Another son of a empty headed trophy wife was encouraged by mom to dress up in pink & lace. His Father was a extreme type A financial guy. But muddle headed trophy wife obviously ran the show.
