Limbaugh to evacuate after calling Irma climate change ploy
By Joe Concha - 09/08/17 11:04 AM EDT
Rush Limbaugh will be evacuating his home in Palm Beach, Fla. just days after stating that creating panic around hurricanes helps advance an agenda around climate change.
May as well announce this. Im not going to get into details because of the security nature of things, but it turns out that we will not be able to do the program here tomorrow, Limbaugh said on his nationally-syndicated radio program on Thursday. Well be on the air next week, folks, from parts unknown.
Conservative political commentator and author Mark Steyn will fill in for Limbaugh of Friday.
Controversy swirled around Limbaugh throughout the week after 66-year-old said while he's "not a meteorologist," and nothing he says "should be considered to be a forecast or a prediction," he believes that hurricanes are often hyped to help drive ratings on the media side while driving sales for retailers who offer storm supplies.
"There is a desire to advance this climate change agenda, and hurricanes are one of the fastest and best ways to do it. You can accomplish a lot just by creating fear and panic," Limbaugh said Tuesday. "You dont need a hurricane to hit anywhere. All you need is to create the fear and panic accompanied by talk that climate change is causing hurricanes to become more frequent and bigger and more dangerous, and you create the panic, and its mission accomplished, agenda advanced."

I love the “connection” that this obviously low IQ “writer” makes.
As is my usual claim, any mediocre STEM sophomore could argue any journalist into a corner regarding the shoddy practices of most so-called climate researchers.
The Hill is promoting the personal attack, filler kind of Fake News.
Most likely in the city of angels.
Who knows maybe the eclipse had some effect, change in temperatures of tides and oceans and temperatures. Sun spots, too.
To think mankind had an effect is beyond arrogant.
Not surprised.
LOL Proofread, dummy.

Did he leave in a panic? Does the fear mongerers try to creat panic around hurricanes to further their AGW agenda? Does that mean that if someone evacuates due to a real hurricane they are somehow vindicating the guys creating panic?
It does! That has nothing to do with the reality of the real dangers posed by hurricanes. He was referring to how the liberal media tries to get us to believe that hurricanes are caused by, or made worse by, supposed man-made global warning. Meanwhile we hadn't had very many hurricanes at all in the past 10 or so years.
This article and headline prove Limbaugh’s point.
Something tells me that Limbaugh did NOT call Irma itself a ploy.
That is an interesting thought. The eclipse could have had something to do with it.
So I looked it up.

The goal here is to drive Rush’s advertisers away from him. Won’t work though, the ones that still advertise on his show are run by conservatives well-versed in the methods of the Left.
Nope.
He is obeying the law.
From the bottom (of course) of the "article."
his area of Palm Beach County is under mandatory evacuation.
Hyped story, simple explanation.
.
Money has become the god of the country for the benefit of the elites and those who already have lots of it. God is not pleased with this and the nation is going to suffer. How sad.
All these media hacks have to do is read the friggin' transcripts off of his website. It's free.
All Rush said is that the media creates fear and panic among people because everything is politicized now. The original path of Irma had it bypassing FL and going back out to see. Mere hours later, it's supposed to hit FL dead-on and going up FL's gut. I still think it's going to cut between FL and Cuba and go into the Gulf.
Also Rush's point about how the Weather Channel shows the hurricane as this angry red blob scares people too.
Am I the only one who has a problem with ‘mandatory evacuations’ under any circumstances?
Writer is ‘Stuck on Stupid’. Rush called them out and they still aren’t listening.
