Ohio's outspoken Republican governor on Wednesday blasted President Donald Trump's decision to begin dismantling the Obama-era program protecting young immigrants brought into the country illegally.
"This is not the America that we all love. This is a melting pot," Kasich said. "And, by the way, if the Dreamers want to go somewhere and live? Come to Ohio. We want all the immigrants to come to Ohio, because we know how much they contribute to America."

This had to degrade significantly the feeling of belonging to a Canadian nation, and indeed it did. Now Canadians complain about the absence of Canadian nationalism and bemoan the lack of cohesion that forms a united people.

Was a time when I liked Casich. Over time he has simply melted down. He used to have a certain middle-class old boy charm. Now he acts as if he’s attending the Democrat talking point meetings.

In my humble opinion, the children of illegal immigrants should be granted citizenship for several reasons:
1. They have been brought here through no fault of their own.
2. Most of them probably cannot write or read (at least properly) in their language of country of origin.
3. They’ve grown up as Americans and speak perfect English.
4. It would be cruel and unusual punishment to castigate them for their parents’ sins, which if you will agree, is completely against Western principles.
5. Exporting/Deporting them would go against Christian values of fairness.Didn’t Christ say,”Go and sin no more.”
6. My interpretation of that is to say “OK. you can be a citizen.” But build the wall and no others shall immigrate.
I appreciate your position, but unless we FIRST have secured/proven borders, reliable VISA tracking and enforcement, mandatory/enforced eVerify, an end to sanctuary cities, and repeal of birth right citizenship the “dreamers” gotta go. Every last one.
Otherwise we’re on a steep slope to general amnesty.

I was thinking about that, too. It is widely believed that Kasich was in the sex club (allegedly S&M) with Gary Condit and Joe Scarborough. If true, I expect there’s plenty of blackmaiil quality info out there.
Condit is still of interest in the Chandra Levy case. And there’s the dead intern, Lori, discovered in Scarborough’s office. What skeleton might be in Kasich’s past?
