Get the U.S. out of funding anything in the U.N. outside of the U.N. Security Council. Everything else U.N. related is a waste and a boondoggle for international professional bureaucrats. There are plenty of Christian and secular NGOs for “refugees”. And most “refugees” today are merely economic opportunists.

This is just using immigration policy as a way to effectuate a massive transfer of wealth from the citizens of one country to people from another country.

I have heard others speak of providing safe havens for refugees in their home countries, including President Trump, but is there any energy developing toward that goal.
It seems the UN is only interested in forcing the creation of a global vegetable soup.
The world has sent them food, water, shelter, etc. for centuries. Send missionaries, armies, teachers, etc.
I think a better question to ask is ...
Why resettlement? What is so catastrophically worse now?
Or what is the world anticipating to happen in these regions that half a million people a year need to be relocated?
