A previous version of this article identified the location of the incident as Colombia, based on information from three U.S. defense officials. A defense official later told NBC News that the incident occurred in Panama.
WASHINGTON The U.S. military detail assigned to Vice President Mike Pences communications team has been removed from White House duties after being caught on video bringing women back to their hotel in Latin America, according to three U.S. defense officials.
The service members who were from the Army as well as one from the Air Force didn't register the women when they brought them in, the officials said.

So, were the agents men or women?
I honor you for respecting your marital vows and am very sorry for your situation. All I am saying is that, single or married, sexual immortality has negative consequences, and we should be upholding God’s standards which are best.
“There is no indication at this point that the women who were brought to the hotel were prostitutes, officials said.”
Oh yeah right. They were just family members
Apparently keeping your lips and your zipper shut isn’t part of the modern military
Fire em all. They probably drink too much as well
Hmmmmm........good question.............
In a way that is my point. Single military in relaxed environment (Pence had not arrived yet) partaking of what’s available, I can see that, and am forgiving.
However, if you somehow violate the standards (e.g., General Order #1 for Iraq), you are wrong.
If you are married, you are wrong.
Otherwise that is basically what I expect from single soldiers.
Are you kidding?
Security detail bringing unknown people into an area close to the VP
You are an idiot
The idea that a drunken screw is every soldiers right is not only immoral it violates all sorts of regulations
Those of you thinking like fifteen year old boys need to grow up
Actually, it's admirable, it's the NEED to jump up and down about it that reminds me instantly of formerly respected evangelical so-called "leaders."
Nicely said
Not a bad point, actually.
And how many were detailed to protect the VP? This wasn’t shore leave you moron
True words
I could be wrong, but some things just demonstrate an institutional problem with loose, sloppy (or non-existent) standards.
It wasn’t shore leave
They were detailed to protect the BP
I don’t want some hung over have spent yob doing that job
“Creepy stalker”? Next time you decide to defend adultery on this pro-family forum, you might want to delete your boasting about being a “conservative” and about your “beautiful Indian wife,” who I very much suspect would take issues with your defense of adulterers.
The alpha males I served with and commanded fought hard and played hard. It is just the way it really is.
A single soldier enjoying the fruits of life especially after a tour or 4 in the sh!thole of the middle east, yea, I am in his corner.
Great point. Completely agree. Who would you trust with your life keeping watch on the bridge, someone who maintains the highest personal moral standards, or someone who is dragged over from jumping from bunk to bunk?
Here’s a hint
This was not a party. This was not r and r. This was not shore leave. These men were supposed to protect the VP
Your idea of a party does not sound like fun. It does sound like a way to get a disease or ruin a marriage
“if the U.S. military was full of people who would meet the standards of these so-called “holier than thou moralizers,” we would not have a problem with U.S. Navy ships colliding....”
Yeah, well...good luck with that. Meanwhile, I’m going to continue to make my judgments/opinions based on things over here in the real world.
Goodbye and Have a nice day.
