He wasn’t really an adviser in the first place, and Trump didn’t care what he had to say anyway.

His inner circle now is... frightening. Only Miller left but I doubt he has much clout.

Trump moves people around all the time. Kust his management style.

Yep. The “You’re Fired” President would have fired Jared and Ivanka by now.

Except they’re related to him.

The Trump administration is churning through a lot of people.

Agreed, and it bothers me. We need to have Kelly stay as COS for a while. If he leaves in the near future, we have serious problems with the functionality of the administration.

Well, hard to say where this will all go. But what can Trump do?? Keep himself surrounded by traitors?? I would agree he made some BIG mistakes by keeping certain individuals to give them a chance. Many have failed the test...it is a precedent for our times.

What was Bannon’s job at the White House? Strategy?

Doesn’t seem like these people being fired were very good at their jobs. As for Bannon, strategy at the WH seems to be a disaster so far.

All anyone is talking about this week is statues. Where is the Obamacare repeal? Where is the tax bill? Where is the new immigration bill?

Yes, I voted for Trump because I wanted to keep Clinton out of the WH and I wanted to “drain the swamp” - but I also wanted action on policy. We’re more than 6 months in - where is the new policy??

I think that interview did him in.

Undercutting the boss in public is a good way to get unemployed.

Sad to see him go though. There are fewer voices to balance out McMaster’s insanity now. Wish Trump would show him the door too.

I didn’t vote for Bannnon.

The name Bannon doesn’t actually have any meaning to me at all, outside of what the media told me the name means, and I know that was a lie, because it came from the media.

"Only possible upside is Bannon can now do more damage to the Left from the outside."

Well yes, but equally likely is that Bannon will turn Breitbart loose fully on Trump. Trump could find himself without any allies as the wolves close in both the Democrats and many Republicans.

“This is an INCREDIBLY stupid move by Trump.”

Naw, not really. Bannon was not elected to be president, President Trump was. As many have stated already, President Trump has a history of moving people around. Folks need to remember that Bannon was an advisor, not a cabinet member or elected official.

Besides, do we know yet if Bannon was fired, forced to resign or just quit in his own?

just stop

Bannon was part of Breitbart one of the only reasons we still have a voice in the media and GETS what DJT voters are about.

Bannon was the last one pushing the agenda.

Trump is finished. He’s surrounded by Dems and Rinos

Trump deserves whatever happens to him. He was warned about McMaster and the others but they stay and Bannon goes. I suddenly care a lot less about any of it. We almost had something, the moment he allowed the scorpions on his boat he was done. He needed to listen to his inauguration speech.

FWIW - another thread stated Bannon tendered his resignation on August 7th. So it was already in the works pre-Charlottesville.

All sorts of speculation possible. Could be Bannon is tired of the scenery from inside, and wants to "move on" to a different view. Meanwhile, Trump has to account for how he manages execution of laws, and advancing of "for the people" policy.

Bannon brought this on himself by spreading the disinformation that McMaster had given Susan Rice security clearance, even though all he gave her was access to her own work product as was necessary, especially if she was going to soon be testifying.

You’re probably right. Trump probably got tired of the hysterical McMaster stuff from Breitbart. It just went on and on for weeks.
