Der fatherland? Yes! To own a dog is JUST like being a NAZI! lol lol lol
Well, while they’re at it, they have to change the name of the entire state of Washington.
I suggest they go to Karl Marx, it’s fitting.
Well could rename it Progressive Sh!thole .... ooops Chicago, Baltimore, LA, etc. are already vying for the name.
Simply name it “City 20.” (20th in population). Rename all U.S. cities.
In other 2010 census news: “Seattle and Portland are at or near the top of the 50 largest U.S. cities for the percentages of their residents who are white. Portland was No. 1, Seattle No. 5.”
How about PSNW (Progressive Sh!thole North West)?
Was this a Irish slave? The first American slaves!! Oh my, don’t tell the blacks the truth. It might hurt their privilege.
This comment is not politically correct. I don’t care, supposedly we still have freedom of speech!
Founded
I notice your name is Robert.
How soon till you must change it????
Simply name it City 20. (20th in population).
= = =
No.
This assumes a ranking, due to population.
All cities should be equal, get a ‘participation’ award, you know.
All will be ‘City 1’. That will be fair.
Well, they have to change the name of their city, I am so offended!
These were Chinook slaves. But while we are in the midst of the Cultural Revolution, let's not use a small paint brush. Slaves are slaves. (pardon my sarcasm).
Or that Washington states largest county
= = =
Is that largest by population?
By area is Okanogan.
But I’ll bet the Okanogan ‘Native Americans’ had slaves, too.
First names are one thing, not all Robert’s are associated as racist, thus I guess I am safe. For example, Robert Marley. 8>) My point though is that they did take their surnames from those three old white men that they hate so dearly.
>>If we are going to rid the world of all mention of slave owners, there is no better place to start than the People’s Republic of Seattle.<<
Not only that, but all the awards to Seattle Slew will have to be removed from the history books.
Sort of done already. Seattle is in King County. The "King" in King County was William Rufus King who was vice president when this was Washington territory.
Along comes Dr King and the name is modified.
Actually, it was the British who deserved more of the credit for ending slavery. The British shut down the transatlantic slave trade and ended slavery in the British Empire before our own Civil War.
Well, I guess we’re going to have to throw the Apostle Paul in the “Round File” too. He counseled new converts to remains as they were when called. If a slave when born again; don’t sweat it. Stay a slave until you happen to be freed.
1st Cor. 7:20 - 24. “20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. 21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. 22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant. 23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. (Serve as unto Christ and not men).
24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
...and then they will announce that Seattle is actually named after Seattle’s Best Coffee.
Elihu Yale was a slave trader. Yale university has to go!
I wonder if the old communist architects are available for some "urban renewal"? We need to stop this insane effort to build the most beautiful building when simple, gray block buildings will suffice. All will be equally alike. Tear down the edifices to capitalism!
Yes - by population (ranked 13th in the nation). It doesn’t even hit the top 100 ranked by area.
