The Confederate and Union monuments, memorials, and cemeteries are there to remind us so that the Civil War can keep that name. Sadly, I suspect we are very close to officially renaming it “Civil War 1”. The next one will be much uglier. With no men of honor on the other side this time around, they will go to excess, and decent people will respond.

There are similarities, the most important of which is the aggressive and militant motivation to eliminate any and all shadow of Christianity.

This is ultimately humanistic socialism vs. the root of where we came from as a nation, being corporately and genetically rooted in common law/Judeo Christian values/principles.
This is the real war being proactively brought to freedom loving conservatives.
And NO, they will not stop if we just continue to seek compromise with them, and try and get along peacefully.
An electorate and its representatives whose supreme goal is to subject all other segments of the electorate and their wealth to its will and control, can never coexist and get along with the segment which seeks the liberty of ALL!
One, socialism (theft/slavery), seeks subjection and confiscation to the control of supreme centralized government. The other seeks freedom from slavery, and true justice and defense and recourse of innocent people from those who rob the innocent of their freedom, belongings, and earned value.
As they have in the past, they are coming after what we believe, our history, and anything which lends itself to our continued liberty.
I firmly believe our own federal governments efforts to increase the influx of both illegal immigration, and legal Islamic immigration (and the related increase in terrorism) is itself, part of a strategy to increase the power of government, while clearly reducing the Constitutional protections responsible for our continued liberty.
The greater the terrorism, the more freedom we are willing to give up.
The greater the historically and economically illiterate and disloyal illegal immigration, the greater the losses of freedom and earned wealth at the ballot box!
Decades of evidence of this left wing socialist strategy have become tangible and deadly.
Would like to see President Trump call a press conference and show a video, with the Taliban blowing up the buddha statues split screen with the knuckleheads pulling down the statue in NC. He could simply ask “What’s the difference?” and walk out.
There is an element in America on the left that is obviously driving our nation towards serious anger and perhaps worse. I’m not sure what the ultimate motive is, but it might be anarchy or civil war, just as was done in Tsarist Russia to set up the Communist revolution. If this doesn’t get turned around it won’t be pretty.
