Authorities Find No Evidence in Damond's Home
5 Eyewitness News - ABC ^ | 8/15/17

Posted on 08/16/2017 9:19:09 AM PDT by Sopater

Court documents show that authorities found nothing when they searched the home of Justine Ruszczyk Damond shortly after an officer fatally shot her.

Damond called for police assistance July 15 because she believed she had heard a sexual assault taking place in the alley behind her house. Mohamed Noor, one of the two responding officers, shot her. He has declined to be interviewed by investigators.

Hours later, police obtained a search warrant for Damond's house and checked inside for blood, hair, guns, ammunition, knives, drugs or writings. They took nothing from the home. The Damond family attorney, Bob Bennett, says the search was appropriate.

Bureau of Criminal Apprehension spokeswoman Jill Oliveira said there could have been clues in the house to explain what happened.

I don't see how this is in any way appropriate.

If you see something, say something?

Do I look like an idiot?

It was appropriate for an organization looking to cover for one of their officers getting away with murder.

So now being shot by police is “probable cause” sufficient to obtain a warrant to search your home for “whatever”?

From the article - "The Damond family attorney, Bob Bennett, says the search was appropriate."

Sounds like it's time to get a different lawyer.

This is the modern police way. We didn’t tolerate this from the Brits.

Yet a violent, hair-trigger, anti-American, and woman-hating jihadist Muslim is still free...after we foolishly granted him a badge, weapons, and arrest authority.

They are trying to cover their butts for their affirmative action hiring of a nut case Somali Muslim by trying to manufacture some way to make the victim culpable. Heads gotta roll on this one. No more affirmative action. Stop the notion of diversity of color over everything else. This is going over like a Japanese cop would have in 1942. The Somali Muslim is no friend of America.

Just you or me decline to be interviewed in a homicide...
Yeah right.

Maybe I didn't watch enough Law and Order as a kid but something STINKS.

The lawyer needs to be fired because the "search" was disgusting. The Judge who signed the Warrant should have showed extreme scrutiny as this POS Muzzltard EX Cop refuses to talk. Unless there is something unknown, this poor woman, murdered in cold blood,is getting murdered again like so many white women when killed by an ILLEGAL or MUSLIM.

In some cases it may be a smart move. In a court proceeding, the police department now has to explain why they asked for the warrant, and what they were looking for.

Most important of all, they have to admit in court testimony that they didn't find anything -- and this may have huge legal ramifications down the road.

Apropriate?

Okay.

From now on, if I hear or see an assault outside my home, I will say nothing....................

While these fools investigate the victim the perp remains free.

HORRORS ! ! ! “Guns, ammunition, and knives.” Assuming all of those entirely legal and legitimate objects were found in her home, they’d do nothing to minimize the horror of her murder. Indeed, where I live in E TN, it would be odd not to find all of them in the average home. All the discovery does is show what a defenseless, innocuous soul the poor woman was and the total evil of her murder.
