Independent Journal Review (IJR) collected a few unintentionally hilarious Twitter responses from journalists who reported being shaken by President Donald Trump’s aggressiveness in an extraordinary press conference Tuesday that was centered on questions about the weekend’s violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Vanity Fair reporter Gabriel Sherman was actually physically ill: “I am totally rattled by that presser. Chest tight, stomach queasy. Feel sick”:

Perhaps he should have his testosterone checked. It seems seriously depleted. But then, he does write for Vanity Fair.

Magazine editor David Lytle tweeted his empathy for Sherman: “I vomited on election night. Today, I bawled for 20 minutes. The stress and anxiety brought on by a threatening president is overwhelming”:

NBC’s Chuck Todd reportedly said on the air that the press conference gave him “the wrong kind of chills.”

“Honestly I’m a bit shaken by what I just heard, and I suspect it’s not just me,” he added.

Yahoo News editor Garance Franke-Ruta accused the President of “defending the nighttime white supremacist protest at UVA with torches”

CNN’s Brian Stelter echoed this concern, saying that “Trump risks sounding like a spokesman for the Unite the Right rally right now”

Trump claimed that “both sides” were to blame for the violence in Charlottesville, meaning the white supremacists and the “alt-left” radicals. That fair and balanced approach wasn’t what the left-leaning media wanted to hear.

They are using his saying that there were good people on each side (bad idea) and his equating the Antifa/BLM with the racist groups was him telling them that he is really still behind them and he just attacked them to appease the media.

They are also saying the standard: that Trump's voting fraud (aka by them as voter suppression) and anti-immigrant(aka by us as illegal) policies are policies to appease the KKK groups.

Point #1, it was NOT a white supremacist rally. * Blacks have “black culture.” Whites are not allowed to have white culture.
* African-American studies is a celebration of blackness and black culture. Whiteness studies is a demonization of white people and white culture.
* White people need to undergo diversity/sensitivity training. Black people don’t.

The media,the left, and the GOPe’s meltdown is of biblical proportions. I pray for the corruption in our government to continue to be exposed and for President Trump’s safety.

What we’re witnessing is the communist goals for America, entered in the congressional record in the 60’s, has become reality. Americans are going to have to wake up and realize, this did happen to our nation through much subversion.

President Donald J Trump has become a roadblock to their goals and God-willing, he is the instrument for which all this corruption is being exposed. I hope and pray it continues.

I hope President Trump’s people are reading here, as what would shake the whole statist commie-types in our government to its core, is to establish an independent commission to investigate the commie subversion going back to the 50’s and 60’s or before.

It’s been in the congressional record for almost that long, and seeing how it’s all being exposed, is good reason to get this going, ASAP. I hope and pray something like this is being considered so we the people, can get our country back.

Worse? In the sense that their claim is predictable and dumb. But with all those pathetic GOP characters scared sh**less of being called racist or fascist, it has already slowed Trump down. This probably won't amount to much in a few days, but it was avoidable.

And again, the "sides" you refer to were manufactured and manipulated to produce violence. In a strange way, cnn and msdnc are right when they say "There is no other side." Unfortunately, Trump already has used the "sides" narrative, so it's hard to change horses. Somebody else, maybe the DOJ, needs to talk about the unite-the-right "leader."
