Men and women are different. Women (and most men) can’t become Seals. Men can’t shiite a football.
Men and women are tough, but in different ways.
Just saying.

Standards will be reevaluated to make sure some females can make it.

Yes. Each sex has its strength and weaknesses, right? They compliant each other so nicely. Why mess with that?

Well, after admitting I was wrong I went and looked at really long-distance (100 miles or so) and while the list isn’t exclusively female, there are a lot of women’s names listed. The problem is that on these really long swims, there is usually just the one swimmer making the attempt.

We shouldn’t mess with it. It’s worked quite well for a very long time. :)

To back up a bit. There are jobs in the US Military that women DO out perform men. A friend of mine was a Marine Air Traffic Controller. He said that there was a woman on their team that was just amazing. She was the best he had ever seen. Handling flight paths of incoming/outgoing along with crippled planes that needed special coordination.
Anyway, through her concentration and calm under pressure she, kept her men safe in the air.

A sample of n=1 doesn’t mean anything.

N=1 is quite meaningful when taken in the context of a sample taken of volunteers qualified to take the training.
N= 1= 100%
