It looks like the movement started by Colin Kaepernick last season isn't going to end during the 2017 season just because he's out of football. Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins revealed this week that he'll be protesting during the national anthem again in 2017 after also protesting in 2016.
Like Kaepernick, Jenkins will be protesting racial injustice and police brutality against minorities. However, unlike Kaepernick, Jenkins won't be kneeling during the national anthem. Instead, the Eagles safety raises a fist over his head, like he did during Philadelphia's opening preseason game Thursday against the Packers.
Jenkins released a lengthy statement this week explaining why he'll once again be protesting.
"Last season, I raised my fist as a sign of solidarity to support people, especially people of color, who were and are still unjustly losing their lives at the hands of officers with little to no consequence," Jenkins said, via ESPN.com "After spending time with police officers on ride-alongs, meeting with politicians on the state and federal level and grass roots organizations fighting for human rights, it's clear that our criminal justice system is still crippling communities of color through mass incarceration."

Pluck his feathers and ship him off to North Korea. He’ll make lots of money there.
Honest question here, can anyone really turn off reality to watch these overpaid, significantly altered and testosterone laden people play a game? An NFL player retires after years of playing at 320 lbs, and loses 100 of it within that first year. You can’t dump that much muscle, so what kind of substance inflates these freaks? I thought it was all muscle? I am a fan who remembers game from the late 50’s, and “my give a damn is busted”.
Throw his ass out of Philly. Worthless cuck.

Come now, Kazan. Don’t you know it’s never their fault? And it’ll never be their fault unless we pay them $20 Trillion in reparations (forget the first $20 Trillion - that was just the rehearsal. forget the half million dead in the Civil War).
I’d bet that, if we elected a black president, all would be well with race relations. That would heal all the nasty, festering race wounds.
“You can “check out”, but you can never leave”.
We got a TV in 1955. We were in Cleveland Browns broadcast territory. Watched games almost every week since. recently taped games and fast forwarded to catch key plays and watch more games. last year boycotted because the league and teams allowed my values to be insulted by millionaires complaints about the country. Never missed it last year and won’t this year. if the league makes a strong stamens and supports mercian values, i will go back, otherwise, good-bye.
EAGLES????? Isn’t that our National Bird??????? Looks like he needs to leave the team.
There are polls, which say the league has lost attendance and viewers due to such actions, which can therefore be deemed harmful to the league, the team, etc.
He no doubt has a clause in his contracts, stating the consequences of such harmful behavior.
The Owner, GM and head coach should meet with him, and his lawyer, and warn that any demonstration during before, during or after the game will be reason for suspension indefinitely without pay.
Then stick by the warning.
Sure would be refreshing to see the Eagles cut him. They don’t have the balls that would require though.
The Anti-American kiss of death for the NFL.
There's no racial injustice when a minority is committing a majority of crimes.
Just watch even one episode of 'Cops' and you will see that a large percentage of non-white criminals are always running from cops and resisting arrest. 'Cops' shows over and over again that if you're respectful to cops they will treat you with respect too. Minority criminals are the most likely to want to fight with cops. It's played out over and over again on these shows endlessly. Ask any big city policeman and they will tell you that minorities, especially blacks, don't treat cops with respect. Respect is a two way street and nobody owes anybody anything just because of the pigment of their skin.
Caption should read;
“Oppressed millionaires of the world unite!”
Ditto that. I only watched the Superbowl to see if the Falcons would upset the Patriots.
At least there’s one team that won’t let this happen - the Cowboys.
No....it was due to election fatigue....didn't you watch the Fake News to get the right story??
Lol!
So he wants to sink to depths lower than being a Michigan player?
still boycotting
