Didn’t Kim Jong-Un say he could reach DC with an ICBM?

What do you mean "and nothing?"

They passed a sanctions bill the president didn't want, stripped him of the ability to make recess appointments, and are working on legislation to bar him from firing executive branch employees.

They've certainly been as productive as any Democrat-controlled Senate would be.

Come to think of it, it might as well BE a Democrat-controlled Senate.

McConnell can’t just come out and admit that the GOP doesn’t have the votes to pass 95% of Trump’s agenda.

Yes. Only a political neophyte like Trump would think that having seven years to develop a plan to replace Obamacare is a sufficient length of time. Just a mere seven years.

What we have is expectations coupled to a gutless, spineless party leadership.

Heard an interesting comment from a senator on a local talk show this morning. He said at the 10:30 conference McCain was a yes vote on the Obamacare repeal vote. Then came his bizarre 1:30 am thumbs down vote that was a shock to many. The senator questioned McCain’s mental state.

President Trump’s agenda has less than 50 votes so the Majority Leader has a point. It looks like President Trump needs to cut a deal with Sen. Schumer or win the 2018 midterms and add Senators while not losing Rperesentatives. Other events could intervene though.

Yeah, unreasonable, like after hearing for 7 years repeal O care and expecting it get done. Well, maybe in the next century??

I knew right after the election, winning was one thing but getting these mealy mouth POS to do anything worthwhile would be a problem.

Trump wanted tax reform done, this POS said well, probably not this year. The beat goes on. They are all in wait and see whom the next president is now, the dems hoping it is one of theirs, the GOP hoping it is one of the sleaze ball Rinos and public watching with their hands in the air.

Mitch, you bitch, most of us who work in the private sector deal with “excessive expectations” and “artificial deadlines” all the time!

And most of the time we meet them. Because if we do not we do not earn money and do not eat.

Kentucky, flush this turd!

That’s true. It just proves we have a Republican Party that says Yes to globalists and No to the American people.

We are not stupid. The 60 vote threshold imposed by yurtle ostensibly blocks everything Trump.

Mitch the Bitch is like any typical liberal: Childish. Asking him to do his job gets the same response as asking a teenager to clean their room.

It is obvious they are just waiting/hoping Meuller will “get the goods” so they won’t have to work with Trump on anything. They slow walk his nominees and then strip him of the ability to make recess appointments, unanimous vote I might add. They do not defend him so Trumps poll numbers are tanking. The GOP just disgusts me. 63 million votes mean nothing to these bastards.

He sure seems to be ass-u-me’ing that he’ll have the self perpetuating excuse of the political same ole same ole to comfily lean on ad infinitum. What a sinecure!

But what if the whole place got an invigorating gulp of Trump covfefe?

Even the Turtle might find himself ready to race, if he doesn’t fight it so stupidly.

The US Senate has become our very own House of Lords.

The Founders are spinning.
