Climate change is disrupting the birds and the bees
BBC ^ | August 8, 2017 | By Claire Asher

Our changing climate seems set to disrupt just about everything. From rising sea levels to ocean acidification, the list of negative consequences from climate change is endless. But one area that often goes unmentioned in the climate change discussion is sex.

Over the last two decades, scientists have found that warmer temperatures are quietly spoiling the mood, making it harder for plants and animals to reproduce.

Here are five ways that climate change is ruining sex lives.

Changing global temperatures could alter the ratio of sexes produced, making it harder for these animals to find mates.

Climate change is changing the timing and strength of the seasons, and as these cues change, the annual ebb and flow of the natural world is being disrupted.

Changing environmental cues might also influence how animals court members of the opposite sex.

Warmer climates seem to have a tendency to make animals less faithful.

Finally, climate change might even impact on our own sex lives.

A 2015 working paper by the National Bureau of Economic Research found a correlation between hot temperatures and low birth rates in the USA. A single hot day when temperatures went over 26C reduced birth rates nine months later by 0.4%, equating to over 1,100 births.

Climate change is eons old. Even the mightiest creatures to roam the earth (dinosaurs) succumbed to climate change.

There are ice ages every few thousand years followed by global warming to melt all those ice glaciers. These cycles have been going on for BILLIONS of years.

Next ice age will kill all people living north of 45 deg latitude. There will be 4 mile high glaciers covering Chicago and Cleveland.

Oh yes, to deny climate change is to deny sun’s powerful influence on earth. The sun is million times bigger than earth. Just live with it.

Man made climate change? Sorry to burst your bubble mankind, but you are just a small pimple on a bull elephant’s ass compared to the sun.

“A 2015 working paper by the National Bureau of Economic Research found a correlation between hot temperatures and low birth rates in the USA.”

More fake studies.

I did a study too. I found that for the 100 years this country quit mass producing buggy whips, the birth rate has declined and people are fatter. The conclusion: mass produce buggy whips to reverse the trend.

See how easy this is?

“Changing global temperatures COULD alter the ratio of sexes produced”

“Changing environmental cues MIGHT also influence how animals court members of the opposite sex”

“climate change MIGHT even impact on our own sex lives”

That last one is funny – people in warmer climates seem to have no problem reproducing…

To completely eliminate their “climate change”, following their claim of it being “man made”, all life forms on earth would have to disappear.

So the choice is, wait and couple of hundred years and see if we’re still all here, in a habitable climate, or go ahead and commit genocide on all living things.

I’m guessing that birds and bees must love the “warming”, because they’re everywhere in the summer, and very rare in winter. In fact, birds go to the trouble of all flying south for the winter...down where it’s warmer, ya know.

And, not one mention of any positive effects, like bin busting food production in the breadbasket. It’s all negative, like the climate that preceded it was somehow, ideal.

Making it harder for plants to reproduce. Yea, plants really had a rough time reproducing when Co2 was 5 times present levels and the temperatures averaged 10 deg Celsius above today.

Yo, Claire, if it wasn't for climate change, your stupid little island queendom wouldn't even exist.

12,000 years ago, The Land of Eng and Scot and Ire was under a mile of ice.

If a warmer climate inhibits plant propagation, why do nurseries grow their plants in greenhouses?

The changing ratio of the sexes is not necessarily bad.

At least for ONE of the sexes, the chances are much improved. Reproduction rates would not be substantially changed, as there need not be a one-to-one ratio for species viability.

By the same people who have supported the abortion of up to one million babies per year in just the USA.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

That last one is funny – people in warmer climates seem to have no problem reproducing…

Just compare the fecundancy in countries like Sweden, Finland and Scotland with countries in temperate and tropical climes.

Sweden is #167 on this chart, Finland is #185.
