WASHINGTON The average temperature in the United States has risen rapidly and drastically since 1980, and recent decades have been the warmest of the past 1,500 years, according to a sweeping federal climate change report awaiting approval by the Trump administration.
The draft report by scientists from 13 federal agencies, which has not yet been made public, concludes that Americans are feeling the effects of climate change right now. It directly contradicts claims by President Trump and members of his cabinet who say that the human contribution to climate change is uncertain, and that the ability to predict the effects is limited.
Evidence for a changing climate abounds, from the top of the atmosphere to the depths of the oceans, a draft of the report states. A copy of it was obtained by The New York Times.

Its at “the top of the atmosphere” to the “bottom of the ocean”. What a shock, places where not a single human being could experience it. How about in my back yard?
Translation, 13 hold over jerks wrote a report in an attempt to embarrass Trump.
This Geologist calls horses***...
Blah blah destruction blah extinction blah blah blah floods blah famine blah blah.
Well, great scientists, you've been 100% wrong so far. Doesn't do much for holding your audience, does it?
In others words, this is nothing from nobody, representing no official organization, and it doesn't exist.
The New York Slimes continues to impress.
This report is a bunch of crap, only published after Trump told the Paris Accord globalists to pound sand.
Then why was it hotter, on the average, where I live, back before the 1980s than it is now?
Just in time for Algore’ s crappy new propaganda movie.
In God We Trust.
Trust In God!
He’s got the whole world in his hands. But even God would not read the New York Times even if it was a complimentary copy!
Another excerpt from the report:
“One government scientist who worked on the report, Katharine Hayhoe, a professor of political science at Texas Tech University, called the conclusions among the most comprehensive climate science reports to be published. Another scientist involved in the process, who spoke to The New York Times on the condition of anonymity, said he and others were concerned that it would be suppressed.”
Clearly a political science “scientist” would be an expert on the weather... (/sarc)
I think you are correct. This report was only written to antagonize Trump.
I sure hope that the authors of this 'draft report which has not yet been made public' get together for a group photo wearing white lab coats.
Because anything said by a scientist wearing a white lab coat must be true.
Moreover, anything published in the New York Times must also be undeniably true.
So that makes anything that the scientists said doubly true.
First week of August, and we Hoosiers were running heaters and wearing our flannel shirts.

Obvious redundancy! Identifies where many more Federal “scientists” can be terminated from their jobs.
Apparently, the NYT doesn’t require their editors to ensure the reporters have done any independent research for facts.
And I'll bet the majority of "scientists" who participated in this report have the same non-qualifications i.e., social "science," etc.
The draft report by scientists from 13 federal agencies,
...
I hope they all signed it so Trump knows who to fire next.
