Mutiny on the Potomac
The Politistick ^ | 08/04/2017 | Jeff Crouere

Posted on 08/05/2017 11:46:04 AM PDT by ForYourChildren

The world is witnessing a political mutiny that is unprecedented in the annals of American history. Donald Trump was duly and overwhelmingly elected President of the United States on Tuesday November 8, 2016. He received the votes of almost 63 million Americans, the highest total ever for a Republican Party presidential candidate. Through a remarkably targeted campaign, he won electoral votes in 31 states, destroying his opponent in the Electoral College. For any other President, his opponents would have given him a “honeymoon,” and allowed his administration to get started and implement his agenda.

Unfortunately, these traditional American political norms do not apply to Donald Trump. Despite his legitimate victory, Trump has been the subject of an unrelenting and unparalleled number of deceitful attacks from his disgruntled opponents. Immediately after his victory, a sinister network of deep state operatives, Obama holdovers in the bureaucracy, “Never Trump” Republicans, Democrats, and biased liberals in the media joined forces to achieve one goal, overturning the election results.

The reason this corrupt cabal is trying to invalidate the will of the American people is that President Trump’s agenda is a severe threat to their livelihoods. The “sultans of the status quo” view the President’s plan to put “America First” and “Drain the Swamp,” as a call to political arms and a battle for their survival.

To protect their power, Trump’s many opponents have tried everything from challenging the presidential vote totals in certain states to intimidating the members of the Electoral College. When that failed, the next step has been to manufacture the “Russian collusion” nonsense, which has led to the precarious situation which exists today.

The REAL Russian collusion is from the Hitlery campaign and the DNC. Hannity has been beating this to death lately but few seem to be listening unless you are a far rightie.

We need to hit back on the real issues; challenging the false premises, which have been used to intimidate dissent in Washington from a past agenda that is diametrically opposed to the preservation of the America that the Founders vouchsafed to their posterity.

"There is something blowing in the wind..."

Out-of-touch elites do not realize the gravity of what thy are trying to (and probably will) do - they haven't thought it through.
This will not end well. For anybody.

Trumps opponents are no longer hiding their intentions. Do they smell blood in the water and are they using the media to "condition" the deplorables for the final putsch?

Both parties have been carrying out a policy of non-enforcement of laws and borders with the aim of permanently changing the demographics of this country.

They are stealing our country from us.

They have been preventing us from stopping the illegal alien inundation that they encouraged.
The GOP had only nominated amnesty candidates for President since the last amnesty until Trump.
Trump threatens to reverse that policy and THAT is why they hate him so.

Yes, the in-your-face "your vote doesn't mean a damn thing" position that they're taking means we'll have to rub them out - or become slaves.

Since Donald Trump basically ran against both parties, it is not surprising that both parties want him out. I suppose the real underground plot is whatever the Republicans are doing to avoid losing their nomination to an outsider again. The Dems have their super-delegates, which allowed that party’s Robert Dole to have her turn in 2008. But the Republicans don’t have that obstacle to nomination. Yet...

The major political parties in this country are simply ‘dance partners’. The Dems lead the dance and push the country leftward. The Pubs get in there only when the Dem agenda is temporarily unpopular, but do they ever ‘lead’? No. They just mark time until the Dems get back in. It’s a ratcheting effect. The reason the elites are so po-ed is because a majority of Republican-voters gave Trump the nomination, and he was shrewd enough to peel off some Dem voters in neglected states. The dance has temporarily been derailed.

The articles exhibit panic. The fear is palpable, like a rat staring down a cobra. .

The indictments, hundreds of indictments, are coming.

All President Trump needs to do is ask for his supporters to come to D.C. Or their state capital To show their support. 10 million or more people in DC plus millions more everywhere would be quite the site. IMHO if the succeeed in removing the Presdent then game on in removing all that people disagree with. That would be toxic beyond comprehension. Let you all figure out how to remove politicians.

First time in my 65 years I fear another civil war. My father years ago predicted another revolution in this country. What is obvious is the evil we face.

This is not mutiny, it is Seditious conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 2384) and is a crime under United States law. It is stated as follows:

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

For a seditious conspiracy charge to be effected, a crime need only be planned, it need not be actually attempted.

George Stephanopoulos just got his copy of Dinesh D'Souza's "The Big Lie"

Unfortunately for him it uses big words and there aren't any coloring pages.
