“The Senate agreed to hold pro forma sessions throughout the recess. This procedure was also used to block appointments during the Obama administration. “
When WE owned the Senate. Pardon this. But that Son of a Bitch McConnell and his buddy Ryan are screwing Trump every single day.
We get nothing on healthcare repeal. But they had time to pass a Russian sanction law designed to humiliate Trump. They had time to block him appointing an AG.
The republican party always has time to screw Trump.

Even bigger MOAB, fire Moeller and his enabler, Deputy AG Rosenstein and end the probe during the recess!!! Dare the Congress to do something about it, especially after he accompanies the firing with a national prime time address explaining what the snakes are up to and why he did it.

“Restart the Tea Party from scratch with Trump as their main cheerleader. Hold rallies all over the country. Primary all fake Republicans in 2018.”
Yep, that’s the only logical option at this juncture. If we can think of this idea you can safely bet that Trump is already ahead of the curve on it.

Odd, I told them 5 years ago that if Romney was the nominee to not EVER contact me again. And surprisingly, they’ve not bothered me since!

Yeah, that would work out soooooooo well!!! Kinda like voting for a third party candidate and the election goes to the DIMS! Well, the Dims pretty much have control of everything but the White House already...

Yes, they did. However, the dems were in control then.
NO other way to look at it but that it is very disturbing that the GOP owns the senate and they UNANIMOUSLY opposed Trump.

I agree Trump shoe form a search party right now. That would make them think.
Trump can also call Congress back into session and he should because it is a national emergency.

I was under the impression that Tillis ran on a rather Conservative campaign, but quickly showed his true colors as part of the McConnell wing, maybe even more to the Left. And, if it weren’t for some shenanigans and bad press, Delaware may have had the sense to send O’Donnell to DC instead of that moron Coons.
I digress, if it wasn’t clear before, it should be painfully clear now, that our elected representatives could care less about us. I never would have thought it necessary, but I’m thinking that it’s time for the Battle of Athens to be played out, but on a national scale.

I’m with you. The tough talk grates on me. Nobody will do a darn thing. We will all go to work, grumble a bit, and hunker down. Well fed people with jobs and families to protect don’t march off to go to jail.

The Republican Senate unanimously screwed their President's foreign policy with sanctions and now have blocked their own from making recess appointments. Did the Dems ever do that to Obama? Think of the delays in Trump getting his picks through because of the Democrats - this would help him! My assumption is they are trying to save Sessions (who I don't think Trump would fire anyway), but they want that Mueller investigation to roll on. Some of them, you know some of them, want Trump replaced with Pence. Where are their voices when it comes to Mueller's potential conflicts of interest regarding Comey and his stacking his investigation full of Hillary supporting Democrats? Where are they now that his investigation has veered off into territory outside of Russia? I don't hear them. I've heard a couple from the House, but the House isn't as swampy as the Senate.,p> You are so clueless, why bother commenting when all you have is your opinion and conjecture? It means nothing. But thanks for playing.

Bloodless or bloody, its going to come to that....So far it has somewhat bloodless, except for some rat violence, but there may come a time, where the other side decides that enough is enough, and it could get really bloody.

You mean Pelosi and Shummer, the real powers in both houses.

The Senate confirmed 80 nominees yesterday. They got played and they have been shown - once again - as obstructions.

What makes you think we have the military command? The top brass for the last 8 years was all Obama picks.
