Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly hired Hillary Clintons pollster, Joel Benenson, as a consultant, a move that is sure to add to the growing speculation that the Facebook founder is running for political office.
According to Politico, Zuckerberg, 33, hired Benenson to advise his and his wifes charity, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, have pledged to donate 99 percent of their net worth which currently sits at $45 billion to charity.
Zuckerberg, a California resident, has long been rumored to have political ambitions. His announcement earlier this year that he planned a cross-country tour to meet everyday Americans in all 50 states added to that speculation, and a series of personnel moves have further bolstered the theory.
As Politico notes, in January, Zuckerberg hired David Plouffe, Obamas 2008 presidential campaign manager, to advise his family charity. He also recently hired Amy Dudley, former communications adviser to Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, Clintons running mate, to serve as chief spokesperson for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

The problem I see is that the cult of personality is reigning supreme in US politics again. The Left constantly derides the Right as not listening to the people while putting up idiots like Zuckerberg as model citizens.
He, like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, will likely ascend to higher office due to name recognition alone. At least Johnson is (registered) Republican.
Just do it and then see what happens!
Ha...he’s hiring the BEST! (Snicker, snicker). You go Zucky!
What happens if some spaz Rino like Scarboro runs 3rd party? Perot redux.
I wish he would put all his billions behind Calexit and take both himself and everybody like him out of the USA.
They assume that if Trump can do it then anybody can. Wrong! They will be eaten alive! The dems will run a black in 2020 anyway. Imagine Zucker trying to get the black vote. That would be comical.
Well, at least he has an easy name to mock.
Calexit is headed for the ballot. If it succeeds, Zucky will be ineligible to run for anything except the California legislature or “President” of California.
This guy may be smart, but he has zero personality. I really don’t know how he will be able to keep up the Media manufactured illusion when he starts campaigning. He doesn’t have the street smarts to compete in the Cult of Personality. (Of course, neither did Obama......but he was protected from his stupidity by his sycophant Media)
Will be fun watching the real truth about FB come out.
Well, he would hold the title of the first little punk president in U.S. history. That’s something.
Notice the safety "X" is on the back of the real workers. Marky has his coveralls on BACKWARDS.
How many tattoos does he have?
The millennials will never vote for one of their own who doesn’t have lots of tattoos.
He might be able to get 10 million “likes” on his FaceBoob Page”
Mindless lazy drones unite!
Z-man has got at $45 billion.
Perhaps there’s some amount of money - some large number - with which you can simply buy an office. By that I mean hire the best campaign people. Flood the airways with carefully crafted, effective ads (not like the stupid ones Hillary ran). Spend big money strategically.
None of that would impress the hard-core opposition. But it might get you enough of the squishy middle. Would spending, say, $5 billion be enough?
“Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly hired Hillary Clintons pollster, Joel Benenson, as a consultant”
So...he hired a “yes man”.
The guy screwed up the biggest poll of his career, telling his billionaire client she’d win with a huge margin - and got a staggering loss instead.
I agree he should get behind Calexit. He could be king
That's what gave us Obama, Al Franken & Jesse Ventura.
He has ton of moneies.
