Los Angeles will host the 2028 Summer Olympics after reaching a deal with Olympic organizers, the Los Angeles Times reported on Monday, citing an unnamed source close to the negotiation.

The agreement also paves the way for the 2024 Summer Games to be awarded to Paris. An announcement from the International Olympic Committee was expected later on Monday.

Reuters could not immediately confirm the report.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti's office said he and other proponents of the city's bid for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games would make an announcement to the news media at 5 p.m. PDT (0000 GMT).

Y'all forget Calibrexit. Americans will have to present passports and visas to journey to Los Angeles. And, they'll have to do it via rutted, potholed runways and highways. If driving, Americans will have to form convoys protected by armed vehicles to protect them from the banditos Sudamericanos y banditos Californicos.

A gallon of gasoline will cost $107, and a burro purchased on Olvera Street (and quite possibly made of burro) will cost about $137 USD, $12,000 C/C (California currency).

Y'all have fun. And, remember, the U.S. government does not negotiate with terrorists. That means they won't send in Marines to rescue you and your family.

Given the Olympic Committee's decision to not sex test anymore that is what ALL the countries' "women" teams will look like.

The only real born females in the games will be rhythmic gymnastics and beach volleyball. I think even diving will be full of trannies.

"Women" teams that don't pack with trannies won't be able to win.

“What could go wrong?”

Nothing. This was probably the best decision for the United States. They already have most of the infrastructure so just paint and updates needed. I think Trump was brilliant in requesting the extra four years so that the process can be timely.

But it’s also home to THE ready made, Hollywood ‘hate industry’ and lot of very anti-American sheep who only need a nudge to goad them to open violence.

Not in 2028 unless they repeal the 22nd amendment.

let’s figure this out together

2017-2020 Trump’s first term
2021-2024 his second
2025-2028 Pence’s first term

I stand corrected

The only was Trump would be President in 2028 would be for him to pull a Grover Cleveland. Be defeat or voluntarily sit out a term and then come back in 2024 and win a second term.

I love the olympics and have many friends in an Olympic sport!! Very happy to have them come back to LA and look forward to going, even if I’ve moved out of state by then!! Screw politics, the athletes are what it’s all about and they are some of the most wonderful young people with great work ethic, great sacrifice, pride, and courage. And they love competing for this country.

Yeah that could work but the last time someone pulled a Grover Cleveland was Grover Cleveland.

I agree, world records will be shattered by incredible margins. It will be like watching Secretariat win the Preakness (pulling away and still accelerating at the wire.)
