Just a rumor.

Sessions was a political appmnt. But if he were to move, I would like to see the Texas Governor appointed to the AG spot.

It would be the most brilliant political 3D chess move of all time!

Would Kelley have to be “re-approved” b by the Senate for the AG slot?

At the same time (under this theory), the vacancy left at the Justice Department could be filled by someone who might not recuse themselves from the Russia, Russia, Russia investigation and possibly even fire Mueller.

A move that is sure to tamp down the accusation that the DOJ is politicized.

If the AG spot is open, I would like to see Rudy Guiliani there. I don’t think Rudy would recuse himself from anything.

Trump does one lateral move and now there's a daily rumor of the next one.

I always thought sessions was a natural fit for homeland security. They still have to get someone confirmed as AG which won’t be easy

Don’t think its going to happen, and Giuliani has apparently indicated he’s not interested.

Sessions to DHS, Judge Jeanine Pirro to AG. We need an outsider at the head of DOJ.

The only reason to do it would be to constrain Mueller. Not to fire him. When he goes off the reservation, new AG can pull him back in...to keep the investigation from being the witch hunt it has become.

Then, when Mueller can’t make crap up to harm trump, they’ll stop (they’ll try something else but this attack will have been thwarted).

Hopefully this would happen in under 210 days. Then slide Sssions back to AG. Done. No senate drama.

Hey Big Media cowards, interesting to see you reporting “rumor” instead of “leak”.

Worried about your “sources”?

Would the new person at AG get confirmed? I’ve read he/she might not get a hearing, as the Senate calendar is full for the balance of the year.

I would let Mueller step on it before I did this. Let him go after Trump’s business dealings first. Or have him refuse to look at Fusion. To the public and party, this would appear over-reaching and/or ignoring evidence for the purpose of removing Trump, and taint his investigation.

Attorney General, Jeff Sessions should remain right where he is. POTUS, Trump should forget the rules and just simply fire Robert Mueller immediately. Bottom line: There never was, or is, collusion between Trump, etc. and the Russians.

So what if the Democrats, Republican Establishment (McCainj & Graham, etc. and their lock-step traitor media go bananas. Who cares, that really matters, no one!!! DJT, keep Sessions, let him take care of AAG, Ron Rosenstein, but, immediately fire that deadbeat loser, Robert Mueller and his gang of thug Hillary Clinton Lawyers, scum and vermin that they all are.

What a dumb idea. AG Sessions would have to go through confirmation, AGAIN. Think of how nasty they were to him last time. Add to that allies of Sessions in the US Senate who will be beyond bringing back to working with President Trump if that happens. Then, another circus to get an AG confirmed? When there are so many confirmations STILL being slow-walked? Then there are us Deplorables who take as part of the package deal that Sessions is the AG.

This might be the ONE issue that would turn at least a percentage of loyal Deplorables against the administration. It doesn't make any strategic sense and it's mean to President Trump's most loyal elected to DC supporter. I wish this talk would stop and President Trump and his revitalized team would stabilize and begin to win fights for the Deplorable Agenda. And that means the only staff changes should be getting rid of leakers and coup members.

(end of my once-a-day rant in support of AG Sessions)

This is part of what I’ve been thinking President Trump has on his mind for weeks. He’s appalled at the fact the Sessions recusal put him into this Mueller ceaseless jeopardy and hopping mad his family is being targeted for jaywalking.

The answer is sadly to see AG Sessions shifted from DoJ and then have someone who will have no phony Russia conversation prompting a recusal.

Then just put Rod Rosenstein in the corner. There are others to move up the ladder of responsibility. I have a certain lass in mind. She’s smart, tough and will be an asset to a new AG.

Just don’t ask me to name the AG coming in. It won’t be Rudy (health and age, lack of desire now) nor likely Chris Christie but he has the temperament to lay waste to corrupt Democrats. In fact, it’s in his DNA.

So who to rotate in? Don’t know but they must not bend to the Rats.

The new normal might be a series of individuals holding recess appointments.
Trump has to cut behind the scenes deals to get his people in and let’s face it, Trump is opposed by the rinos and the commies.
As an example, If Trump wants to sink healthcare, he will need to withdrawal the congressional exemption, stop insurance subsidies etc. McConnell will tell Trump that if he wants his people in, he can’t sink 0-care.

And what makes people think Sessions is interested in the lateral move? By all accounts Attorney General was the only post he’s wanted all along.

Thanks for the post. D. Perino (FNC) voiced the same Friday evening. Sessions would thrive in this post, given his past history.

New, BOLD AG to fill Sessions’ shoes??? Cruz? Rudy?
Christi? Unknown, new-face, a brash New Yorker?

DJT = MAGA!
