GOP Senate candidates across the country are battling to emerge as the pro-Trump candidate in contested primaries.
President Trumps approval rating might be stagnant nationally, but he still enjoys strong support with many of the GOP primary voters who will decide crucial Senate primaries ahead of the 2018 midterm election.
So GOP candidates in states that Trump carried in November are beginning to hammer their opponents as unfaithful supporters of the president to gain an edge in their primaries.

Regarding Michigan and Kid Rock vs. Lena Epstein:
In Michigan, former Trump state campaign co-chairwoman Lena Epstein has made her support of Trump a key part of her primary bid. Barring any long-shot bid by musician Kid Rock, Epstein has a clear lane as the pro-Trump candidate in the race thanks to her campaign experience.
Shes campaigned as an unabashed supporter of Trump she signs emails to her supporters as 2016 Trump co-chairman," called for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign because of Trumps disappointment in him and regularly promises to support Trumps America First" agenda.
Corker, Hatch, Heller and Flake must be removed from office for voting for Rubio’s amnesty or they will do it again.
Knowing which side of the bread gets buttered is at least as important as knowing who is supplying the butter.
There are many interesting money trails to be followed out there, and the occasional dropping of buttered bread with buttered side down can be explained by the influence of new money trails overriding the old.
Epstein should run with the idea of toughening him up for prime time. If he pulls a Todd Akin then she’s it.
“Corker, Hatch, Heller and Flake must be removed”
All 3 of these traitors must go. They all hid behind their yes vote Thursday while McTraitor gave them cover by killing the bill. Flake even said in so many words to vote for the witch over Trump. Flake is as bad as Juan just not as vocal.
Bye bye Tammy Baldwin soon to ex D WI
‘GOP Senate candidates across the country are battling to emerge as the pro-Trump candidate in contested primaries.’
Here in Virginia Gillespie [who used to be wildly popular among conservatives] sneaked through a nail-biter ... 2% if I remember correctly even though his outspent underdog opponent hugged the Confederate flag.
Virginia’s population has gone drastically urban lately. Rural counties are shrinking while we recently picked up half a million more ‘citizens’. A rebel flag image was a tough sell, and still the pro-Trump guy nearly beat him.
No chance to remove them. Spend your energy on something achievable.
Although I would be glad to see Flake defeated, but it is a pipe dream.
I want to see new Trump supporting Senators in 2018...If I could I’d be running and telling Florida’s voters that Bill Nelson is not for Florida and America, he is for Globalism...
One can't help but assume that there's not more than a small handful of US Senators who aren't bought and paid for. They'll vote the way they campaigned, unless it affects the outcome. When the outcome is in doubt, the least vulnerable will vote against their constituency. The problem is unfixable in the US Senate because so many of them don't have to worry about re-election for a lot of years.
Term limits? Not the solution. If they can't get re-elected anyway, why pretend? They'll just line their pockets and set up after-Senate gigs ASAP.
Where we're at now, Collins and Murkowski should be stripped of any committee leadership roles. Why is leadership so afraid of them? If it's that they're afraid of the female vote, guess what? Real females see right through those self-serving *itches.
(end of this rant)
“Corker, Hatch, Heller and Flake must be removed from office for voting for Rubios amnesty or they will do it again.”
I am pretty sure Trump will not campaign for Murkowski or Collins, although, neither are next year. McCain is dead man voting, which, makes him a Bolshekrat.

July 15
U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake got some bad news by way of a poll that found him with the third-highest disapproval rating of any of the Senate’s 100 members.
Flake, R-Ariz., is seeking a second Senate term in 2018, and it already has long been clear that his poll numbers are soft and he’s likely in for a fight in both next year’s Senate Republican primary and general election.
>>I have had it in for Corker since he sponsored the bill to allow Obama to shove the Iran deal through.<<
Exactly!!!
Folks should wonder about your motivation for such pessimistic posting...especially since you've got zero insight into these races.

Doesn’t matter. The Party will throw all their effort/$$ behind the name recognition because...WIN. We all know the electorate doesn’t care to keep up w/ how their choices voted, nor open their eyes to note there’s more than TWO choices on the ballot.
Cantor is/was a fluke. Expect to see the same faces until they DIE; then they fill the seat w/ the ‘next in line’ and the theatre continues
Maybe she could get an endorsement from Kid Rock?
Based on results of how many incumbents got booted since 2000. Cantor was a fluke and an exception, mainly became possible because Brat the professor has mastered articulation. Especially true in open primary states, I believe AZ being one of them. That is why maverick McCain & flaky Flake keep winning.

Longshot? Really? Like Trump was a longshot despite being ahead in the polls the whole primary race.
The poll released by Trafalgar Group shows that indeed it will be game on if Ritchie runs. The musician leads among potential Republican candidates with 49.62 percent. In second is undecided with 28.10 percent.
IIRC a poll showed him beating the Democrat by 8%. The political class just doesn’t want to believe how much ordinary people hate them.
