Same here.
I AM packed except for the computer & tablet and the larger handbag I'll carry on the trip. I can't stop thinking about it till it's done, so it's done. LOL!
Here's what the temp was up there this morning...not early either!

Ooooooo, those temps sound niiiiiiiice! It would be nice if some of that would move down south, wouldn’t it? You’re going to enjoy the relief from heat while you’re there.
I’m sure gonna try! LOL! I am looking forward to it. One of my friends from where I worked is up there now and she and her family have been having a great time. Of course, they’re into all kinds of sports and I’m totally not. But I’ll enjoy seeing the mountains and trees and feeling a cool breeze for a change!
How are you today? Did you get any more rain? Are the temps still cooler than they were last week?

The scenery is gorgeous in that area. I enjoy seeing it on the different live cams. Seeing it up close and personal will be really nice for you. And feeling that crisp cool air. Aaaaaahhh.
No rain for us today though there were a few showers in the area. All those did for us was raise the humidity. The temps aren’t all that much cooler so far this week but will cool off into the 80s in a couple of days.
Not fun doing the grocery shopping today in the heat but it had to be done. Tomorrow Lessa’s two boys go to the vet to be neutered and with the vet so far away, it just works better not trying to do both the same afternoon.

I hate getting out to try to do chores when it’s so hot. It just makes me crabby. LOL!
Been watching the sea eagle nest. Something weird going on there. Poor little baby has been alone nearly all day and hasn’t been fed since morning unless they fed him just in the past few minutes. I don’t think I’m going to watch anymore. It’s too hard.
I guess I should go for tonight. Hope tomorrow brings cooler temps or a bit of rain for you. None is forecast here till next week. I won’t be here. LOL! Naturally.
I don’t like running errands in the heat either. Could’ve waited until tonight to shop but didn’t feel up to it. Still haven’t gotten my steam back up after roasting last week and by evening, I’m not up to going anywhere. It’s done now so all’s good.
One of the parents (I think Dad) was on the nest earlier when I checked but I haven’t been back in a while. I wonder why they aren’t taking better care of their eaglet. It’s way too young to be left unbrooded, especially with the wind blowing so hard. I have the cam up now and they’re saying there have been other birds flying around and Lady and Dad might be busy running them off.
Hope you get a good night’s sleep and have a good day tomorrow.
We’ll cool off Thurs. and maybe we’ll get rain as the front comes in. Just have to wait and see.
