I hate getting out to try to do chores when it’s so hot. It just makes me crabby. LOL!
Been watching the sea eagle nest. Something weird going on there. Poor little baby has been alone nearly all day and hasn’t been fed since morning unless they fed him just in the past few minutes. I don’t think I’m going to watch anymore. It’s too hard.
I guess I should go for tonight. Hope tomorrow brings cooler temps or a bit of rain for you. None is forecast here till next week. I won’t be here. LOL! Naturally.
I don’t like running errands in the heat either. Could’ve waited until tonight to shop but didn’t feel up to it. Still haven’t gotten my steam back up after roasting last week and by evening, I’m not up to going anywhere. It’s done now so all’s good.
One of the parents (I think Dad) was on the nest earlier when I checked but I haven’t been back in a while. I wonder why they aren’t taking better care of their eaglet. It’s way too young to be left unbrooded, especially with the wind blowing so hard. I have the cam up now and they’re saying there have been other birds flying around and Lady and Dad might be busy running them off.

We’ll cool off Thurs. and maybe we’ll get rain as the front comes in. Just have to wait and see.
