An Australian woman engaged to marry an American next month was shot and killed by a Minneapolis cop Saturday night after calling police to report an incident, leading her family and investigators to question what caused the deadly shooting.
The woman, identified as Justine Damond, 40, was killed in the late-night shooting in the city's Fulton neighborhood, Fox 9 reported. She reportedly had called to report an assault.
“Two Minneapolis police officers responded to a 911 call of a possible assault just north of the 5100 block of Washburn Avenue S. just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday,” the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said in a news release. “At one point, an officer fired their weapon, fatally striking a woman."
Police were trying to determine whether any video of the incident exists. The body cameras of the officers involved were not activated, according to police.

Usually the initial reports will tell of a struggle or of refusing to obey orders, or something fishy when we "blame the victim". ESPECIALLY when the race baiters get involved do we look more closely at the said "victim".
In this case, initial reports are of a woman at the driver's side of the car and the passenger shooting across his partner to kill the woman.
No we don't nor will we ever know all of the facts, but whether it was a white or black person being shot in this instance, many would be questioning the officer's competence.
There are always a few who do otherwise, but let's not paint everyone here as a racist.

The Minneapolis PD is rapidly going downhill under incompetent leadership from the female chief to the left wing loon mayor. A week ago a Minneapolis police officer responding to some complaint was caught on a security cam vaulting a wooden privacy fence into a back yard and then shooting two dogs. The video clearly shows the dogs were not being aggressive and were confined in a totally fenced back yard. Here was no apparent reason for the officer to vault the fence or shoot the dogs.
Some day, years from now, an honest historian will write a book about the fall of Western civilization. Angela Merkel will get an entire chapter devoted to her.
George W. Bush will get an entire chapter as well.
If she was out at 11:30 PM investigating where she thought was an assault I think it likely she was armed. No reason for the cop to shoot her. But it is a good idea to drop your weapon once the cops show up.
Now since when are body cams turned off when responding to a call for help? That alone makes me suspect these were rouge cops.
