Police are treating a series of acid attacks Thursday night across London as linked, and have arrested a 16-year-old male.
At least one victim suffered “life changing injuries” Thursday night in the apparent crime spree, which saw five attacks take place in 84 minutes in East London and Islington.
The arrested teenager is being held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and robbery.
Police described the attacks in their statement, which revealed the first attack took place at 22:25 on the Hackney road. Officers said the male victim had been on a moped when a pair of men on a second moped pulled up beside him.
The men threw a “corrosive substance” into his face, before stealing his moped and riding away. When officers responded, they found that the man had sustained facial injuries, but they are not being treated as “life threatening or life changing”.
The second attack took place 40 minutes later on Shoreditch High Street — a location just half a mile away. Once again, two men on a moped threw acid into the face of a man, who was taken to a hospital.
Eight minutes after that, police received a third call after a man in his 20s had acid thrown in his face. The most serious of the attacks, a crime scene was set up at the location and the man is reported to have received “life-changing” injuries.

“Asian” in the UK means South Asian(ie India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka).
Arabs and other Middle Eastern people are usually not called “Asian” in the UK.
Problematic behavior by “Asians” in the UK is usually done by Pakistanis.
The crusades were not all that bad of a behavior anyway. It is quite a bit of revisionist history on that subject.

this is why banning guns and knives does not work. because bad people will always find a way to hurt others. not sure if armed citizens could prevent this type of attack but they could certainly ensure that the perp is permanently stopped.
They should also be beaten severely, without damaging their organs...

This story is about an entirely different incident. John Tomlin’s assault on two people in a car happened a while ago. He is clearly some kind of gang member.
That’s because it’s not necessarily muslims which are being referred to. In Britain ‘Asian’ has long been the colloquial term for all the brown-skinned peoples deriving from the Indian sub-continent (ie the four countries of the former British India). It thus includes Hindus, Sikhs etc of whom there are also large numbers in Britain.
Figuring out punishment for this one should be easy.
It is about a different incident but until we know more about the perpetrator of the current one, the Tomlin incident and the fact that the emphasis seems to be thievery by incapacitation, caused me to reserve judgement about the genesis of the current crimes.
I think it is possible that the horrendous, primarily Muslim, practice of acid throwing has been noticed and copied by gangs/hoodlums because its a cheap & effective way to rob/car jack and makes them fell powerful. I hope not.
Well, they should be able to enjoy the full diversity and vibrancy that they impose on us but seem to avoid in their own lives.
How about a high enema with hot battery acid?
