Many journalists reacted breathlessly to a New York Times report on Sunday revealing that President Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., met with a Russian lawyer who indicated she had damaging information about Hillary Clinton.

Donald Jr. admitted to the June 2016 meeting — to which he brought campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Trump adviser Jared Kushner — but downplayed its significance. “Obviously I’m the first person on a campaign to ever take a meeting to hear info about an opponent,” he wrote on Twitter Monday morning, adding that the meeting “went nowhere” but that he “had to listen.”

Many Trump critics claimed that the NYT report supported the theory that members of the Trump campaign were somehow involved in the Russian government’s hacking of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta and the Democratic National Committee.

But Trump Jr., Kushner and Manafort’s lone meeting with the Russian lawyer pales when compared to the coordination between Clinton allies and Ukrainian government officials who hoped to see Clinton win the 2016 election.

Eric Bolling's book "The Swamp" mentions Podesta’s ongoing business deals in exchange for Sec Hillary's official favors.......AND the uranium sale and numerous meetings to secure favors and Clinton Foundations in exchange for favorable official policies by Obama and Hillary.

Podesta needs to be under intense scrutiny.....he's no shrinking violet.

RECAP---A leaked Jan. 3, 2014 document shows that Podesta transferred more than 25,000 of 75,000 shares of Joule Technologies---a Russian-connected firm---to Leonidio Holdings LLC. Leonidio Holdings, LLC, is listed w/ an address at his daughter's Megan Rouse’s Shannon Court home in Dublin, California. Rouse operates Megan Rouse Financial Planning from that same address.

The inference is to money laundering, perhaps tax evasion. Suggests that Megan Rouse's father, John Podesta, hid stocks connected to Russia.

Documents show that Podesta received 75,000 shares of Joule Unlimited Technologies......an outfit which was linked to alleged money laundering by the Russian government, according to media reports.

THE CLINTON FAMILY BUSINESS There may be no Clinton Foundation office in Moscow or St. Petersburg, but it is not for lack of trying. Bill Clinton received half a million dollars in 2010 for a speech he gave in Moscow, paid by a Russian firm, Renaissance Capital, that has ties to Russian intelligence. The Clinton Foundation took money from Russian officials and oligarchs, including Victor Kekselberg, a Putin confidant. The Foundation also received millions of dollars from Uranium One, which was sold to the Russian government in 2010, giving Russia control of 20% of the uranium deposits in the U.S. — the sale required approval from Hillary Clinton's State Department. What's more, at least some of these donations weren't disclosed. (hat tip NYT)

Earlier, The New York Times reported the Clintons' connections thusly: "Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal." Plus Bill Clinton pocketed $500,000 from a Moscow investment bank for a brief speech.

However, The NYT and Washington Post never reported Pravda's headline: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.” Imagine if a Republican State Department approved such a deal?

More egregiously, Hillary's campaign chairman, the ubiquitous John Podesta, acting as "The Podesta Group" (co-founded w/ his brother, Tony) lobbied on behalf of Uranium One, after most of it was owned by Russia.
