Saturday, President Trump picked up the hat of a Marine that was blown off due to the turbulence from the President’s helicopter.
As the President approached Marine One at Andrews Air Force Base just outside D.C. after returning home from Hamburg, he bent over and picked up a Marine’s white hat that blew off his head and onto the ground amid turbulence from the helicopter. Trump placed the hat on the Marine’s head and patted him on the arm, but immediately after doing so, the wind carried the hat off again.
The President chased down the hat for the Marine and returned it to him once again. Total class act.

Spent time in the Corps? It is a cover to a Marine just like the place he pisses is a head. Just because you are a civilian doesn't change the nature of things that are used by Marines. Heads existed long before toilets.
The military has time-honored words for objects; it brings uniformity, which is crucial in battle. For civilians to double-down on hubris-inspiried expectations that they can or should be called something else is dishonorable.
One would have to understand honor first. Liberal chicken$hit civilian know it alls who deign to instruct those who own the terms.

Nothing embarrassing about it for the Marine, I doubt the President called him a dumbass. Probably get some shiite for it back at the barn, but how many guys get their cover returned by the CINC along with a pat on the arm?

No, that uniform isn't made for everyday wear in bad weather conditions. If the cover is worn correctly, it will get blown off. While my squid brethren would refer to us as jarheads, there is no way to screw that POS to our BHG.
