Anyone with personal experience, or with family in the Navy or the Corps knows the proper name for these things; likewise with the other branches.

The military has time-honored words for objects; it brings uniformity, which is crucial in battle. For civilians to double-down on hubris-inspiried expectations that they can or should be called something else is dishonorable.

One would have to understand honor first. Liberal chicken$hit civilian know it alls who deign to instruct those who own the terms.
