For Mann, it’s an enormous embarrassment. The case just ends...only because there cannot be a data set shown in a court.

My kid once went to one Mann’s lectures, where he rambled and provided no documentation for ANY of his statements, except for a childish hand drawing displayed on an OHP. At the time, my kid had no idea who he was but came away totally unimpressed with him.

He is not just defying the Freedom of Information Act, he is also defying accepted scientific practice (by the consensus of scientists). In any respectable science, data cannot be hidden but must be revealed for scientific review.
