When former Attorney General Loretta Lynch testified last year about her decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information, she swore she never talked to “anyone” on the Clinton campaign. That categorical denial, though made in response to a series of questions about whether she spoke with Clintonworld about remaining attorney general if Hillary won the election, could come back to haunt her.
The Senate Judiciary Committee, which has launched a bipartisan investigation into Lynch for possible obstruction of justice, recently learned of the existence of a document indicating Lynch assured the political director of Clinton’s campaign she wouldn’t let FBI agents “go too far” in probing the former secretary of state.
Lynch’s lawyer says she is cooperating with committee investigators, who are seeking answers to several questions, as well as relevant documents. Among other things, they want to know if she or any of her Justice Department staff “ever communicated with Amanda Renteria,” who headed Clinton’s political operations during the campaign. Renteria, who has been identified in the document as the senior Clinton campaign aide with whom Lynch privately communicated, has also been asked to testify.
The committee also wants to know if Lynch or any of her aides were in contact with former DNC chief Debbie Wasserman Schultz regarding the Clinton e-mail investigation, according to a three-page list of questions that Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley and ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein recently sent to Lynch at her New York apartment.
Senate investigators have combed through a transcript of Lynch’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee in July 2016. In retrospect, several of her statements strain credulity. But one in particular stands out, and could present legal problems for Lynch.

Finally. We need more of this. A lot more.
I agree about wanting to see justice. I’m not holding my breath either, but I think there is a decent chance we might see justice served and criminals in prison, but I expect it will be a slow process.
I am hoping and praying that the reason for the seeming slow-roll of so many of these cases is that prosecutors are carefully building bullet-proof cases. It takes time to gather and vet all the evidence. It also takes time to give the perps opportunity to incriminate themselves. When liars keep talking, they eventually out themselves.

Like the feeble attempts at investigating Hillary, someone will tell congress to bring the Lynch investigation to a screeching halt. This whole mess is a house of cards. If Lynch is brought down then the Clinton’s would be exposed and that folks is never going to happen. Even Trump is not going after the criminals, why is that?

Too many cankles to process at one time. The only thing I feel sorry for is Loretta Lynch’s shoes. Those cankles on her look like Miss Piggy’s tree stumps.
Lynch will take the fifth, pubbies will will moan and cry “foiled again” and the committee can get back to the Russia witch hunt.

You would think even some of the democrats would be sick of the Clinton crime cartel and want to be rid of them.

You know, I have been posting that for months. I wanted to see Holder, Lynch, Hillary, the bunch, weeping in the docket. Now I am thinking, maybe I was being juvenile. Do we really want them as targets of sympathy? Do we really want CNN to disappear? I am starting to think it is in our best interest to let the BSM continue with their “hair on fire” BS. Let those precious lo info voters continue to see Trump as the underdog. Let these prosecutions of the Deep Staters percolate along quietly, not reported, not generating sympathy, just quietly grinding in the wheels of justice...
