#BREAKING LIVE: Evacuations are taking place after a vehicle tested positive for explosives at the gate of Hanscom Air Force Base near Boston, Massachusetts. http://nbc4i.co/2tMD3Ye
Hanscom AFB == MIT Lincoln Labs.
And it was 4th of July.
They’re heeeeeeeeeeeerrrreeee!!
Aloha Snackbar.
Occam’s Razor Answer: ISIS is getting the sh*t bombed out of it in Syria so it is ramping-up sleeper cell operations against the USAF.
Fertilize your lawn and change your engine oil, then w/o washing your hands, open your vehicle door handle, drive through a military gate and chances are strong you will pop for “HME” residue. Unless the vehicle HAS explosives, its likely a false positive positive.....
TSA pulled my bags out for additional inspection once because I pulled them across my father-in-law’s lawn right after he had fertilized it and the sensor tagged them for the presence of explosives.
Had that happen once. Helped a friend, who is a pharma rep, pack samples of heart medicine.
I wash my hands.
Hopefully it was just used to transport fireworks for the 4th and has residue, but you gotta be careful, and rule out the worst.

Large boxes being taken out of the truck.
Look to be about 2’ l x 3’ w x 3’ h.
Thanks for keeping us stuck at work posted about this.
Again.
I was thinking about a hat or shoes worn at a shooting range...that might test positive at TSA inspection too?
Eglin is the largest military base in the world.
The 30,000 pound MOAB was tested there and I read that only those involved with the explosive testing heard the noise.
(I have serious reservations about that report though)
Driver and 1 passenger are being detained and questioned.
LEOs are removing boxes from the truck. Seem to be separating boxes into 2 groups.
Apparently, there were 2 positive reactions from bomb-sniffing dogs to explosive residue that caused alarm.
