FBI agent indicted for alleged false statements in LaVoy Finicum shooting (OREGON STANDOFF)

An FBI agent has been indicted on federal accusations he lied about firing at Robert "LaVoy" Finicum last year.....

The agent will face allegations of making a false statement with intent to obstruct justice, according to sources familiar with the case.

The indictment stems from a more than year-long investigation by the inspector general of the U.S. Department of Justice. The agent will be identified when he's summoned to appear in U.S. District Court in Portland at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday......

Finicum's widow, Jeanette Finicum, has said she plans to sue Oregon State Police and the FBI for civil rights violations in her husband's death. The suit will allege that state police and the FBI used excessive force......

As Finicum left his truck, an FBI agent shot twice at Finicum, though none of the hostage team members admitted to discharging their firearms, the Deschutes County sheriff alleged. The county sheriff's office was tasked with investigating the Finicum shooting.

The Oregon investigators concluded that one agent fired at Finicum's truck, hitting it in the roof and missing the second shot. A state trooper later described to investigators seeing two rifle casings in the area where the FBI agents were posted. But detectives called to investigate didn't find the casings, police reports indicated......

2 OSP goons each shot LaVoy in the back from different angles claiming the protection of other officers around them, not themselves, this was milliseconds after he was tased my the guy in the woods. The write up and autopsy report is chilling to read. They set them up, ambushed them and murdered Lavoy.

The idiot FBI agent getting caught lying is at least one saving grace.

Societal observation...You mention Ruby Ridge, or Waco, to just about anyone across the country and they will at least know to what you are referring. Mention the Oregon Standoff and you will most likely, except for some in the Pacific NW, get a blank stare.

The sad thing...most of our society is too focused on "what's for dinner tonight" and "what are we doing for fun this weekend" to give a thought or tinker's damn to anything five feet beyond themselves.

If you just watch the video you see the FBI pummel that SUV with rounds and rounds of ammunition. None is fired back. That’s AFTER they shoot LaVoy dead, and he didn’t even touch his weapon.

When people care and act en masse and non violently like people have been in Venezuela for three months, we will have seen real change.

But the incentive for that mass protest in Venezuela is having little or nothing to eat for dinner. Then people care and get down to the business of taking on the tyranny.

Also drone footage, it did not appear to me that he was reaching for a gun.

The FBI and the State Police probably felt threatened so that makes the shooting all OK.

Philando Castile's family got $3 million in a settlement for the same kind of suit in Minnesota. Michael Brown's family got $1.3 million from Ferguson. She should clear at least as much.

So this is really justice served? An innocent citizen is murdered in cold blood by his government and this is the best they could come up with?? Oh well, what’s one more life when we already had 700,000 killed in order to preserve the Central Government’s ability to murder at will.I’m sure the FBI worthies who shot him have already received the Lon Horiuchi award for valor.

I don’t know what the final result of the planned lawsuit will be, but with all the costs associated with government in general and law enforcement in particular like UNSUSTAINABLE PENSIONS these million dollar settlements for all the lethal force only add insult to injury for the taxpayers.

Our nation is 20 trillion dollars in the hole and Washington plans to increase the debt to 35 trillion.

Totally unsustainable.

The Democrats were going to teach us that our guns couldn’t protect us from them.

Same thing as Waco.

Wait until we get the next Democrat President.

The Democrats really want to teach us a lesson. Look at the nut job who shot Rep Scalise.

They are insane.

Unless the Republicans do things like release the Hammonds from jail and stop prosecuting the people in Nevada over the Bunkerville Standoff near Bundy Ranch in 2014 it doesn’t matter what the Democrats do when they are in power.

The Republicans never do the 180 on what Democrats do in various ways from Obamacare on down the line.

As conveyed in the documentary you are referring to, LaVoy wasn't reaching for his sidearm. He was REACTING to being shot in the side of his lower torso! That documentary is well worth the watch, and kinda sad too..

I know LaVoy's wife isn't black, but she surely deserves a rather LARGE PAYOUT from the State of Oregon and the U.S. gov't. If THUG Michael Brown's family get be awarded millions, then LaVoy's family deserves that much and more.

OKC was not revenge by anyone on the conservative or patriotic side of the aisle.

I highly recommend folks read up on what happened with Kenneth Trentadue, and his attorney brother’s attempts to find out why his brother was murdered while in custody.

Folks should make up their own minds about the facts of that case.

Shooters must be brought low, also. This would just be a little justice to appease real USAians.

Cause you’d ask the wrong query. Mention the ‘take-over’ of the national wildlife refuge and I suspect you’d get a hit.

Fedzilla and Pravda, I mean MSM, put out their typical propaganda (big govt good, Lavoy+ “anarchist nut-jobs”). The sheep know nothing else.

Given recent history, how does anyone associated with the FBI have any credibility at all?

If by recent, you mean since they killed almost a hundred folks in Waco, yeah I can see your point. As far as I'm concerned the FBI has been a terrorist organization since the Weaver "standoff".

The FBI is in the business of assassination. They have morphed into the government’s hit squad: Ruby Ridge, Waco TX, and now here with the Oregon standoff and the outright cold-blooded murder of an unarmed rancher.

The federal government will always send in its jack-booted goons to murder whomever stands up against their practiced tyranny - including women and children. It makes no difference to these trigger happy robots. They live for the opportunity to kill Americans who challenge the federal government’s overreach and habitual violations of the Constitution. They revel in shedding innocent blood - it’s the new normal, which was established under the Clinton Administration, and then further advanced by Obama and his treasonous cabal of Marxist swamp dwellers.

Where does that figure come from? Thanks in advance!
