President Trumps team has reportedly been battling Walt Disney World Imagineers over the presidents speech for The Hall of Presidents exhibit in Magic Kingdom.
A source described to Vice the back-and-forth between Disney and Trumps aides, who have insisted that they will write the speech Trumps robot will give during the attraction.
"When Disney tried to get this process started earlier this year," the source explained to Vice, "Trump's people said, 'We'll be writing the speech that the President's Audio-Animatronic figure will be saying.'"
The Imagineers for speeches have in the past worked with the various presidents teams to write the address, which for the last two decades has been given at the end of the exhibit by a robot of the current president.
"The Imagineers [the researchers and developers behind Disney's theme park attractions] tried to point out that they're typically involved with this process," the source told the news outlet.
"That they directly collaborated with Clinton, Bush, and Obama's people when it came to figuring out what the President's Audio-Animatronic figure would say. Trump's people said, 'No. We're writing this speech. You guys have no input on this.' "
The source said the company fears a boycott of the theme parks should the president take to Twitter to express his grievances.
"They'd particularly like to avoid him tweeting about this situation," the source said. "It would most likely result in a call for conservatives to boycott Walt Disney World, which is the company's biggest fear." Tags Donald Trump walt disney world hall of presidents magic kingdom

All the right people fear Trump’s tweets. Excellent!!
Conservatives should be boycotting all Disney crap.
They’ve been anti-freedom, anti-family, anti-Christian for a very long time, now.
Disney wants to hire Michael Moore and Kathy Griffin to write DJT’s animatronic speech.
Simple. Disney either acknowledges Trump’s right to his own words or lose 25% of their gate. We ain’t playin no more.
Which can hardly be the case, considering the way they pander to every pervert group on earth.
“They’d particularly like to avoid him tweeting about this situation,” the source said. “It would most likely result in a call for conservatives to boycott Walt Disney World, which is the company’s biggest fear.”
What about the poor liberals who work for Disney???
Went in December...what shocked me sitting and looking at the people go by...
The place was full of deplorables..(Trump supporters)
I heard one women at the hotel... they had been saving for years to bring there kids there
Disney needs to figure how to you fast pass for everybody...
It is not worth going there if you can only get into a few popular attractions..
They have been raising prices so they would get fewer people..
Do they have a Bill Clinton figure there that says: “I did not have sexual relations with the woman, Miss Lewinsky.”?
Disney is a communists club of far left rats.
the sad irony is Walt Disney was a staunch conservative...
This is written as if the Trump was demanding full rights and being facist, racist bogots. But I too would be defensible about letting the biased, racist bogots at Disney write Trump’s speech.
Should just tell them to forget having a Trump robot likeness at all. Besides it’s just just something else to stand in line for an hour for after dishing out a month’s wages to get through the gate
Now I’d definitely pay to hear that :)
How's that for gall !!!

I doubt very much that Trump told them “no, we’re writing this and you can’t give us any input”
Sounds like BS
Saw an article today that Disneyworld is offering a deep discount on tickets.
It’s the middle of the summer season. Maybe visits are down?
Unbelievable “nerve” that they would think they can dictate any words for the POTUS. I don’t care if it was done in the past, good for Trump team to hold firm.
Then you should have kept your big fat mouth shut about it and him "battling" you.
This has fake news written all over it. I cannot imagine someone at the White House being so petty as to say "no, we're writing this"...
I can, however, imagine them asking for final approval, which I would actually insist on.
The article is written so that it is not always clear who is responding to whom.
I thought the author was saying that yes, in the past, Disney has worked with other presidents in order to write the automated speech.
That seems to be what the Trump Team is wanting all along.
What is clear that the Disney group does not want Trump tweeting about it, due to any conservative boycotts that could result.
