Voters are still critical of the news coverage President Trump is getting and continue to believe most reporters are out to get him.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 34% of Likely U.S. Voters rate the media coverage of the president as good or excellent. Forty-four percent (44%) describe the coverage of Trump as poor. Both findings are up slightly from January just before Trump took office and are consistent with views of the media coverage of last year's Clinton. vs. Trump presidential campaign. Fifty percent (50%) think most reporters are biased against the president, up two points from January. Just four percent (4%) think most reporters are biased in Trump's favor, a 12-point drop from the previous survey. Forty percent (40%) think the majority of reporters try to be fair and balanced, up from 31%.

I assume the other 24% tuned out the mainstream media a long time ago, and thus don’t feel they can give a proper answer?

The 76% number EXPLAINS A LOT...starting with the fact that Trump’s people are still glued to him, and the fact that they are turning out for special elections when the Dems think they have it in the bag.
Not a wrinkle in sight.

Think about it...how many Trump supporters would answer their phone, and tell "a single, digitally-recorded, voice" how they feel about things?
It reads like Rasmussen keeps calling after hang-ups then re-weights the results. Thus, I strongly suspect the TRUE percentage of Trump supporters is higher.
The best take on this topic was Bill Burr on Conan, the night after the election. In the midst of a talk about how the polls were off, Bill said "...if you're any sort of a normal person, if just someone came walkin' up to you with a clipboard like 'hey, ah, who are you voting for President?' you'd be like 'hey, ah, none of your f***ing business.'"
