In the basement of an decimated church in eastern Mosul, rubble and debris tell a gut-wrenching story of ISIS' depravity towards Yazidi women and girls. On the floor of the iconic house of worship lie tiny pieces of pink and yellow underwear and flower headbands belonging to the very young Yazidi sex slaves the barbaric terrorist group took captive.
Iraqi officials tell Fox News that at least 200 Yazidi girls and women were imprisoned in the historic Syrian Orthodox Church of St. Ephraim, one of the regions largest Christian sites, which was freed by Iraqi forces several months ago. We found documents where they questioned them about their age, whether married or single, virgin or not, period or not, Iraqi Forces 1st Lt. Waseem Nenwaya, told Fox News. In addition, he noted, ISIS used the church to store documents from their various departments of the terror group.

ISIS slaughtered huge numbers and many had to flee to survive. Now the issue of returning is real concern.
This describes the horror ISIS created with their treatment of the Yazidi women they captured. Some are said to have been transferred to Raqqa Syria before Mosul fell.
President Trump said he would end ISIS and it is coming about. No stone should be unturned in ending this Great Evil called ISIS.
ISIS - thanks, Barack!
Yes, the blood of many are on his hands and head.
Merkel has volunteered German churches and girls as an alternative for ISIS. /semi-sarc
US courts have said Trump must let the US do the same.
Nominal islam
Save Thy people, O Lord,
and bless Thine inheritance.
Grant victory to Thy Church over her enemies,
and protect Thy people by Thy Holy Cross!
Obama created ISIS by his dithering in Iraq and letting Clinton and McCain help destroy Syria and Libya. It’s rather sickening that this all could have been prevented. I will go as far to say invading Iraq was a monumental disaster in the first place. I did not always feel this way nor express this truth. It has not helped that the fake Pope could care less if every last Christian in the Mideast is exterminated.
May God bless all of the women and girls who have suffered at the hands of these savage animals; His supernatural protection to all of the men, women and children still at risk.
Lord, please give the Trump administration the resources to wipe these ISIS creatures from the face of the earth and bring glory to Your name.
It way predates Islam.
I don’t pretend to understand what they believe, but it is ancient. That said, they have adopted some things from Christianity and from Islam. It is a fact. Zoroastrianism is an element in it.
Have been told the Islamists call them devil worshipers and kill them with no thought.
Herr Merkel and US Courts can pound sand.
The way toward sharia. Any and all. Other muslims too.
Obama’s buds.
what the Izlamik state practiced was not nominal, but true to the texts and true to Mo’s actions and words Izlamm
Again, the term "angel" is what we use and what they have used due to the long domination by Christianity and Izlam.
This would be correctly termed as some kind of demi-god. It's also called the Angle of Light, so offending Christian and Islamix ideas of the devil
Not as antagonistic as the religion of the Mandeans (southern Iraq) who have Adam, Noah and John the Baptist as their prophets and consider that Moses, Jesus and Mohammad were false prophets! (so p!$$ing off all three at the same time! Score!)
I am told that most Kurds claim to have descended from the Ezidi’s. At least they claim them in some forms as far as genetics are concerned.
The Ezidi’s don’t intermix or accept outsiders in their religious group. But they don’t appear to all be the same. Seems like they have 2 strains of characteristics physically. They are all light complected, but some have blond hair and blue eyes. While others have red hair and brown or green eyes.
DNA tests on the Kurds show mixing of lines probably as nations were conquered and overrun.
Ezidi’s are a peaceful people. Kurds have protected them in modern times. Some are armed now, since the Shingal attack on them by ISIS. They have their own local protection groups.
Unfortunately, they are subject to being murdered by some of the Iraq Kurds. It is a subject that is not often discussed, but I’ve been told by several it is an issue.
Are they devil worshipers as some Muslims claim? I don’t know. If they are, they don’t claim it.
They are the people who kept the old Indo-Irani religion after Zoroastrianism, CHristianity and Islam came and went
So, technically they are a different people (because of religion) just as other ethnic groups separated based on religion
And just as other ethnic group murdered "relatives" because of religion, so too the Kurdish-Yazidis
They aren't "devil worshippers" - but they worship a being that seems similar enough to the Abrahamic devil for that to hold somewhat true
