Not to make light of the shooting, why in the hell is congress practicing baseball at 7 am on a Wednesday and not at home getting ready for a thing called WORK....
And too, number of shots includes shots fired in defense. Scalise had a security detail on the scene.
I blame the MSM and Chucky Schumer for this. They are fanning the flames of revolt against a duly elected President. They have blood on their hands.

I suggested pretty much the same thing on Twitter in response to VP Pence’s tweet. I’m’ now getting piled on by left wing trolls, so I’ll be ignoring my Twitter feed today.
They apparently have a Dem vs Rep baseball game, and they were practicing for that.

appears so. A few minutes ago they described the park. Down the street is the river and over that is DC, so a lot of DCers live around that park. It’s a usual habit from 6-8am for the last few months practicing for a charity event tomorrow nite, and mostly just folks walking their dogs or jogging before work, not a lot of foot traffic. Another safe neighborhood shattered.
I mean in general- this sounds more like an angry liberal shooter than an jihadist. Though if you combine the two... I’m surprised with all the agitation that something like this hasn’t occurred sooner.
Could be some nut pushed into believing the Russians are coming because of all this post election bull crap.
Or could be some greenie upset over the Dakota Access pipeline.
