Monday on Fox News Channels Hannity, during his Opening Monologue segment, host Sean Hannity on two occasions called for the special counsel probe headed by former FBI Director Robert Mueller to be shut down.
First, Hannity called into question the relationship between former FBI Director James Comey, who Hannity suggested was biased against Trump, and Mueller, which he described as a conflict of interest.
[J]ames Comeys relationship with the special counsel Robert Mueller is a massive conflict of interest, he said. Its why it is time to shut down this political witch hunt that is really aimed at stopping the president, delegitimizing him, and hopefully in the minds of some making sure he gets thrown out of office. Its that serious.

Fire Mueller, he’s doing the work of the RATS to derail Trump’s presidency
Mueller and Comey, et. al. are conspiring/colluding to overthrow the US Gov’t.
[Agreed. Sessions has the opportunity to do so today by making a strong recommendation to shut it down. Comey’s testimony has made the special counsel superfluous. ]
Sessions isn’t going to do s—t today except act like a “Southern Gentleman” and go along with whatever the committee says.
Trump should have hired a brash Northeasterner like Christie as AG. Despite his flaws, CC would have had DC cleaned up within the first 100 days.
What a stupid idea to appoint a SP!
There is not a shred of evidence of any collusion between President Trump and the russians, but give Mueller time - he's just hired a raft of dem operatives to create some!
This is a good trend. If Trump fires Mueller (aka Comey) the libs will try to compare Trump to Nixon firing Cox. But when Nixon fired Cox, there was no call in the press to fire him. Hannity, Gingrich and others who call for Mueller to be fired give Trump a basis for doing it.
or... point it at HilLIARy....
Sessions also has the opportunity to bring up the Hillary/Bill collusion with the Russians and ask the senators why they don’t summon her to answer for her actions. If he does not, he should be fired immediately upon conclusion of the hearings.
I am all for being “gentlemanly” and courteous, but there comes a time when it is right and necessary to slash and burn.
A DC swamp lawyer .
This mole set him up and Trump .
Sessions is not going to do anything to help today. The coup will continue unabated.
Normally I’d agree re Sessions, but he’s had so many falsehoods directed at him by his former colleagues (i.e. He lied and the reason for recusal was his lies, both false) that he just may grow a pair today and come out firing to set the record straight - hopefully on his own but at least at the urging of a friendly GOP Senator who’ll lead him on that directing during questioning.
:: What a stupid idea to appoint a SP ::
There is “legal” difference between a ^Special Counselor^ and a ^Special Prosecutor^.
FR should be on the fore-front in defining that difference!
lol you mean the way Christie cleaned up New Jersey??? I don’t think we need that....
I agree with you on the SP v SC. Mueller has no where near the power of a SP. An SP was tantamount to a 4th branch of government.
And who is that? We all knew there was a problem with some Republican Senators serving an agenda that has nothing to do with what's best for the little folk who get them elected. Are any of them finally going to say "enough"? They know that AG Sessions is a decent and honest man; he served in the US Senate with them. I'm beginning if there are ANY US Senators, either side of the aisle, who have an agenda that isn't counter to what's best for our sovereignty and the safety and well being of US citizens.
Rosenstein is a one of the key soldiers in the coup. He put Mueller in right on schedule. All hell is going to break loose but l think Mueller and his gang must go if Trump is going to survive. It’s such a mess and it goes back to Sessions idiotic recusal.
Yep, even a Rudy in his dotage would have fought more effectively.
Comey’s testimony has made the special counsel superfluous.

100% agree. There is clearly a conflict of interest on Mueller’s part, on several levels, and there are already other investigations in progress. Its all an unproductive waste of time and money.
But what this really is is a politically motivated witch hunt; a persecution in search of evidence. Its just a mechanism of the entrenched deep state designed to disparage and dislodge Trump. They believe that Trump got elected by putting a spell upon the people; the denizens of the DC Swamp want to make an example of Trump so as to avoid future popular “uprisings” by the unwashed masses. The deep state is protecting itself.
It Trump does not find a way to shut this insidious thing down it will eventually destroy his presidency. They will never exonerate him and the investigations, insinuations, and innuendo will go on for years.
