Basketball Hall-of-Famer Dennis Rodman will travel to North Korea for his first visit to the communist nation in more than three years, a senior Trump administration official confirmed to Fox News.
He is going as a private citizen, the official said. It's our understanding he hasn't landed yet.

That by way of inference this is at least Rodman's second visit to North Korea, he is a traitor and should be dealt with accordingly.
Perhaps this sort of thing was tolerated by the previous administration. The current one ought to have different ideas.

Fourth trip...
I’m not real enthused by Rodman’s antics. I will say that Trump knows him through the apprentice. Who knows what is really going on here? Maybe nothing, to be sure.
We’ll see.
Hey, with Trump I rule nothing in or out.
In the past, Rodman has seemed like a blithering idiot in relation to his antic with Kim. That’s a given.

Sometimes this is the way that sub rosa diplomacy gets done. I wouldn’t be quick to label Rodman a traitor. He might well be a very unlikely courier.

While I didn’t say so, I agree.
I don’t care who is used to break the ice and make headway.
It’s not like Rodman would have to know state secrets to establish a bridgehead here.
He could simply state a willingness from Trump to talk things out and reduce tensions.
Simply expressing the U.S. lack of interest in invading North Korea might help.
Kim is a wing-nut, but even wing-nuts can begin to move in other directions. It’s not like we couldn’t move back to square one at a moments notice too.

LOL
You may be on to something there.
It will be interesting to watch as this plays out, even if it’s a big fizzle.

Shouldn’t Rodman then be exempt? I mean, can “that” really be considered a man.

Rodman may well be the lone American on a first name basis with Kim Jong-un and Kim obviously likes him. So who could be better to send?
The master negotiator may be offering Kim a way of surrendering militarily while staying in power- otherwise there is going to be an exceptionally violent regional war that will end the Nork threat once and for all. There is no way that they will be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and an ICBM. And a war that does this will wipe out all of the Nork conventional weapons as well. There won’t be any half measures. I suspect that we have something that can eliminate the 14,000 Nork artillery pieces before they can fire a round at Seoul. MOABs or Tomahawks or something else.

One of the stupidest things Rodman has tried is when he tried to legally change his name from Dennis Rodman to “Orgasm”
The judge threw it out of court

I agree with your thoughts. I do have a hard time thinking we could protect South Korea against all those medium range missiles though.
Then again, I’m not sure how great a shape all those missiles are in. Are we talking the Arabs on the West Bank level of missile competency, or something more conventional?
