Rodman may well be the lone American on a first name basis with Kim Jong-un and Kim obviously likes him. So who could be better to send?

The master negotiator may be offering Kim a way of surrendering militarily while staying in power- otherwise there is going to be an exceptionally violent regional war that will end the Nork threat once and for all. There is no way that they will be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and an ICBM. And a war that does this will wipe out all of the Nork conventional weapons as well. There won’t be any half measures. I suspect that we have something that can eliminate the 14,000 Nork artillery pieces before they can fire a round at Seoul. MOABs or Tomahawks or something else.

I agree with your thoughts. I do have a hard time thinking we could protect South Korea against all those medium range missiles though.

Then again, I’m not sure how great a shape all those missiles are in. Are we talking the Arabs on the West Bank level of missile competency, or something more conventional?

Sorry to burst your bubble but they have nukes, and ICBMS.

Bummer.

One MOAB isn’t going to take out 14,000 artillery positions.

A pre-emptive nuclear strike on Pyongyang smuggled in will end this all real quick.

They can’t know it’s coming. Or Seoul is in trouble.
