Report: John McCain Claims Barack Obama Provided Better ‘American Leadership’ Than Donald Trump

Anti-Trump Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has reportedly told a left-wing newspaper that he believes “American leadership” was better under President Barack Obama than President Trump — the latest in a series of shots the failed 2008 presidential candidate has taken at his fellow Republican.

According to the Guardian, McCain was “visibly irked” when asked about comments Trump made last week in the wake of the terrorist attack in London, in which he criticized London Mayor Sadiq Khan for his response to the atrocity.

“What do you think the message is? The message is that America doesn’t want to lead,” McCain said. “They are not sure of American leadership, whether it be in Siberia or whether it be in Antarctica.”

This is why we need a “none of the above” option on our ballots.

- but but but that would destroy American politics!!! -

Your point is?

What do you expect? He and Lindsey were paid by the Hillary Clinton campaign prior to the election. I guess Cindy was holding back on his allowance.

How on earth does he get reelected?

Doesn’t Air-i-zona have anyone who can take him on?

[He really liked that “leading from behind” action.]

Yeah, and McCain’s Arab Spring/Libya debacle along with his accomplices Obama and Hillary.

That’s real leadership.

Another reason to have pilotless aircraft.

Every aircraft McLame ever flew was pilotless.

I am getting so sick of Republican legislators lately. They seem to think their job is anything but being a legislator. They spend their time being pundits, legal experts, critics of the current administration, making excuses for not being able to do their job, going on extended vacations, being on worthless committees, investigating every thing that has happened in the last year. Everything but legislating. No action on the budget, no action of the dept ceiling, nothing accomplished on health care, nothing on infrastructure and nothing on fixing our broken immigration system.
Considering this, why should anyone vote for any of these guys next year as it is obvious they are never going to do anything that would qualify as doing their real job. Someone should tell Senator McCain that he is a legislator and not the president he thinks he should be.

Garvin claims that Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is an A$$, has about the same amount of power behind it.

I'm sure Arizona does. Of course, whether the Republican Party will allow that to happen is another matter.

In 08 Primary in Fl, the state moved its election up and thereby lost half its delegates. Even so, the McCain clown won over the Romney clown by a few percent. Rudy was a distant third with the Huck not that far behind him. I guess there are too many vets in Fl who voted for McCain as a Nam Vet as he had nothing else going for him. The guy should have been in jail due to the SandL scandal but it had been long ago enough few were even aware of Keating. Had he not run, I suspect Rudy would have carried Fl but such is the problem with a close primary.

I liked Thompson but his heart was not in the race, it was obvious but i voted for him anyway. In the general, I wish there had been a line “none of the above or how about a redo”. Given the two choices, it was McCain for me as there was no way I could vote for a known radical lefty. The rest is history.

Yeah, look where McCain's "leadership" leads... right into an ISIS trap!

But I understand why you're especially upset today, McLame. After all, your good buddy, the head of ISIS, was killed the other day. So sad for your personal loss... after all your attempts to arm him and protect him. /sarc

Thank you, President Trump, our Special Forces, and close air support. We salute you guys!

They had a perfectly fine female candidate in the last republican primary but oh no! There are moronic voters everywhere and AZ is no exception. So we are stuck with this prick unless or until he finally croaks. Of course even at that he is far and away better than a democrat...that’s how bad they are.

PP, there is still question of dead or alive on Baghdadi
After reading he was killed, it was read he had escaped and managed to save his sorry hide. So, nothing concrete confirmed as yet. Continue to search thru obituaries for funeral time and location

The message is that McCain has lost his memory and his marbles. He needs to be withdrawn by his family to save what is left of his legacy.

Yep, like a floating turd with an air pocket. No matter how many times you flush it, it doesn’t go away.
