Black Lives Matter Wins Global Peace Prize for Championing Justice and Equality

The Black Lives Matter social justice movement has been recognized with a global peace prize that in the past has highlighted the work of South African civil rights activist Desmond Tutu, renowned philosopher Noam Chomsky and former Irish President Mary Robinson.

The Sydney Peace Foundation announced last week it will give Black Lives Matter its 2017 peace prize during a ceremony scheduled in November for Sydney. The award recognizes the work of the founding leaders of the social justice activist network, Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi, who began working together after Florida neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman was acquitted in 2013 in the shooting death of black teen Trayvon Martin.

"This is the first time that a movement and not a person has been awarded the peace prize—a timely choice. Climate change is escalating fast, increasing inequality and racism are feeding divisiveness, and we are in the middle of the worst refugee crisis since World War II. Yet many establishment leaders across the world stick their heads in the sand or turn their backs on justice, fairness and equality," the Sydney Peace Foundation said in announcing the award.

WOW! Seriously? No, really? Next up, kathy griffin expose "My life as a victim of the evil Trump empire". News-weak has outdone themselves again. When you think aligning yourself with noam chumpsky, desi tutu, you may as well toss in cuban freedom fighter chez guyabarra while you're at it. Talk about an irrelevant fish wrapper.

Unbelievable.

Just give it to the New Nazi Party for the same reason, since the tactics and desired end result are the same.

Oh wait, the New Nazi party doesn’t actively call for killing cops.

This is from the Onion, right?

A group that outright calls for killing and violence wins a “peace prize?”

Either that or the world truly has gone mad...

Who Is Doing the Community Organizing for Black Lives Matter Spectacle?

Not many Black Lives Matter morons would have the initiative to get a poster printed. But it's no mystery where they get the signs that they jab in the air as they chant "What do we want? Dead cops!" The supplier is printed right across the bottom: revcom.us .

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

'Rev' is for revolutionary.
'Com' is for communist
.

Revcom.us bills itself as "the voice of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA." The explicit objective is to overthrow our constitutional republic and replace it with an oligarchical collectivist dictatorship along the lines of North Korea and the Soviet Union.

Why would advocates of a communist police state agitate against the police? Because as leftists used to admit openly, the issue is never the issue. This isn't about the police, any more than it is about blacks. It is about destabilizing the system so as to create opportunities to weaken it and eventually overthrow it.

That's what community organizing boils down to. These people have taken over the executive branch of the federal government; why would they stop there?

The next hill they take will be federal control of local police. After that, things will start to get scary.

From the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party (revcom.us):

"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power: We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning.

And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle.":

The 1992 LA/Rodney King riots were instigated by the Revolutionary Communist Party...

From David Horowitz's FrontpageMag.com /DiscoverTheNetworks.org:

"Throughout its history, one of RCP's [Revolutionary Communist Party] principal objectives has been to foment civil unrest in the United States. The most notable example of such efforts occurred on April 29, 1992, when RCP members looted and trashed the downtown and government districts of Los Angeles, triggering the infamous Rodney King riots. During the days immediately preceding the violence, RCP -- which maintained close ties to the L.A. gangs known as the Crips and the Bloods -- had circulated throughout South Central Los Angeles a leaflet featuring a statement by RCP National Spokesman Carl Dix, titled 'It's Right To Rebel' -- a quote popularized by Mao Zedong.

Encouraged by Dix, RCP activists helped lead the riots that would leave 58 people dead, more than 2,300 people injured, some 5,300 buildings burned, and $1 billion in property damaged or destroyed. On the ten-year anniversary of the rioting, RCP member Joseph Veale fondly recalled the violence as 'the most beautiful, the most heroic civil action in the history of the United States.'"

Yeah, I was thinking the onion when I first read the title but thought “No one in their right mind..............” Then it dawned on me. It was newsweak and there are NO “right” minds there any longer. Then I looked at “The Peoples Cube” to see if maybe it was them. Nope. Although they do have their take on the calf-ee griffin story.

Let them get cocky. A line will be crossed, and we can then do to them what they really want to do with us.

As for prizes, any prize dealing with non-STEM subjects has become as worthwhile as one’s dog’s daily output.

And, given the discourse on the supposed “science” of climate change, they are gnawing at STEM also.

Why doesn’t the BLM movement take the cash award and use it to print up millions of ‘Black Lives Matter’ signs?Distribute them to all mostly black cities to be placed at the scene of all dead, black bodies( executed by other black people) found in the streets. They wouldn’t change anything, but the irony would be entertaining.

Didn't really DO anything ... just championed something.

That's like me getting an award for "championing" motherhood because I say, "My mother's the best mother in the world"

I want to thank the academy, and my fans, and the audience (I'd like to take you home with me, I'd love to take you home) and most of all .... Mama.

Yes ... most of all ... I remember Mama

They have union shops on retainer to print signs at a moments notice. Kind of a boiler plate where you just fill in the blank for the people or place you’re getting ready to protest. Peacefully of course. ;-)
