Kathy Griffin is set to explain the reasoning behind her controversial photo shoot with a bloodied mask of President Trump and respond to alleged bullying from the Trump family on Friday.
Griffin and attorney Lisa Bloom said in a joint news release they will hold a press conference in Woodland Hills, Calif. 12 p.m. It will be the first comments Griffin has made since she was relieved of her duties as CNN’s New Year’s Eve host.
Griffin received major backlash after the photo was published on Tuesday of her holding a bloodied mask that resembled President Trump. She apologized for the photo shoot and YouTube video later, acknowledging she "went too far." However, by Wednesday morning, her attempt at a joke clearly fell flat among the public.
Donald Trump Jr. called for CNN to drop Griffin as a commentator shortly after the image went viral. "Dear CNN, I must have missed your statement banning your commentator #KathyGriffin from future shows. Please resend. Thx," he tweeted.
Both the president and first lady also called the photos "disturbing," Trump adding that the photo took a toll on his youngest son, Barron.
Griffin has co-hosted CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” with Anderson Cooper since 2007. Cooper criticized Griffin's actions as "disgusting."

While she MIGHT say that in the first few seconds (more likely to say “I’ve already addressed this”), I’m guessing it will quickly transition to attack mode like her god the Fraud taught her.
Is she going to accuse the Secret Service of ‘bullying’ too when they pay her a visit?
If she says anything other than “I am a desperate attention whore, and need help”, she is lying.
I hope all the press there grills her on her comments from December when she promised to go after Barron.
I hope they ask her what she told the Secret Service after they interrogated her. Ask her if she knows if/when she will be arrested.
Ask her if ISIS has reached out in sympathy to her.

The left even got that rodeo clown who wore an Obama mask, among many others, fired just for doing that.
The head in that picture was one of the most ugly, crude, nasty and disgusting things I’ve ever seen.
And the blood Trump mask was pretty bad too.
If there’s evidence that the photo shoot was specifically and intentionally targeted at Barron Trump, she is in one helluva lot of legal trouble, both civil and criminal.
