Thursday’s headlines include: “So What Happens to Earth Now?,” “Still Don’t Care? Proof You Should,” “…And More Proof,” “…And Even More Proof”

As President Trump announced his plans for the U.S. to exit the Paris climate change accord, the Weather Channel used its website to prove what an extremely bad idea that is.

Just deleted them from my "favorites," and sent them an email letting them know what I think of their politics.

"Isnt the founder of the Weather Channel critical of the global warming scare?"

If so, you'd never know it from their broadcasts. They're the clowns who started naming winter storms and came up with that ridiculous "TORCON" crap. "We're at TORCON 3! TORCON 3!" Whenever it's hot somewhere they'll state the temperature, say something like "it's the hottest June since last June" and then follow with a long pause, to let the dreadful import of that news sink in with their unfortunate viewers. Weather drama.

and propaganda.

Why does anyone pay attention to John Coleman, Weather Channel co-founder, on climate change?
By Jason Samenow November 3, 2014

Both Fox News and CNN have recently invited John Coleman, one of the founders of The Weather Channel and former TV meteorologist, to express his views about climate change to their national audiences. Coleman is simply an awful choice to discuss this issue. He lacks credentials, many of his statements about climate change completely lack substance or mislead, and I’m not even sure he knows what he actually believes.

To begin, Coleman hasn’t published a single peer-reviewed paper pertaining to climate change science. His career, a successful and distinguished one, was in TV weather for over half a century, prior to his retirement in San Diego last April. He’s worked in the top markets: Chicago and New York, including a 7-year stint on Good Morning America when it launched. If you watch Coleman on-camera, his skill is obvious. He speaks with authority, injects an irreverent sense of humor and knows how to connect with his viewer.

But a climate scientist, he is not...

That Paris agreement was very deliberately biased against the U.S. because we had a patsy-Obama-negotiate for us. He would not hesitate to throw us under the bus so he could be the world’s “hero”. The other guys took full advantage.

The founder of the WC hasn’t worked there for many years. The WC became full-blown AGW and climate change purveyors of such idiocy when he left. .....I only watch the WC for my Local on the 8’s when it’s stormy here.

Here was John Coleman on CNN on November 2, 2014:

He addressed the topic in no uncertain terms.

John Coleman, the weather channel founder does not believe the global warming statistics. He says it’s a hoax.
